It doesn't matter whether you are a beginner, a family with kids or an adult seeking adventure, Kayak King aka Mark knows where to send you for a perfect paddle. He recommends a spot then drops off the kayaks and gear and picks them up when you're finished. It doesn't get any easier. There are many good spots to paddle in the Killington area but we (4 adults experienced medium level paddlers) had paddled them before and were seeking a new adventure. We had a fabulous time on the Killington Amazon. This is not for children, couch potatoes or the feint of heart since you have to portage over beaver dams and, depending on the water level, possibly drag through stuff. But we totally loved the wild life and the adventure. Mark is candid about what to expect so listen to him. Easier spots like Kent Pond (and loons!) can be just as much fun.
