coach house theatre

I had not been there since I was a school girl. The memories were scarce. I didn't even remember how small it truly was. That being said, it was a perfect event in a perfect place. Historically, it was a coach house. Obviously, the atmosphere was phenomenal! Very intimate seating of 5 or 6 rows with 20 or so seats in each. You sit slightly higher than the stage. After the show, the cast line up in the lobby to speak with you. How much better of an experience could you possibly get with a theatre? We are going to try out season tickets next year (it's a matter of scheduling on our part more than anything else). Too good to pass up. Oh, by the way, the actors were fabulous, too;-) Well written, directed and acted! It was very nice to be able to interact with the actors afterwards. Lastly, there is a small counter in the lobby run by volunteers from the Women's City Club, I believe. The ladies are charming and share coffee and treats with you. Just a great experience that I hope no one passes on...

We have been subscribers to Coach House for about 20 years and have never been disappointed with the productions. The small theater seats àbout 100 and many times it sells out. Each year the Agatha Christie mystery is a treat
