silver creek metro park

This a quiet park, kind of out of the way,but very peaceful and a great place for birdwatchers. Also has several marked trails

A great place to go, that's right down the street from anywhere. We fish there a lot and also take our horses there and ride all the time. Very clean park.

My husband and I enjoy hiking the trails and going to the beach in the summer time. The beach and water are both clean and well kept. The trails are nice to hike in the summer, some are shaded with the big trees.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. There are wonderful hiking trails, beautiful ponds, and great scenery in general. Great place to picnic with the family, fish, or just take in the scenery.

Having grown up in Norton, we came here all the time. They have two trails you can hike: Chippewa which is 2 miles and Pheasant Run which is 1.2 miles. These are both great places to hike or run. In the summertime you can swim and rent boats as well. This is also a great place to go fishing. If you are looking for a nice place to spend time with the family or take a nice walk while going on a date and don't want to spend any money, this is the place for you.

Well blazed trails and paths, plenty of parking, and a great lake for fishing. We use this metro park often, as it is close to home. Silver Creek is a great place to get some exercise and take in the fall scenery!

I grew up in the 60s right behind what is now silver creek metropark and it has excellent hiking trails and a very nice lake and clubhouse now...much more fun than when it was just woods...
