These murals are wonderful. Realistic and almost three-dimensional, you feel as though you could step right into the picture. There are whimsical touches here and there that make for an even more enjoyable experience. Walk the length of the murals and then head over one block to Second Street, (which runs parallel) where you will find shops and eating places. Although we live in the area, we visit the Walls often.Since it's outdoors on the street, it is handicap accessible. Parking and restrooms are available at the Visitors Center. You can also park on the street. Food is available at the several restaurants in the vicinity.
The artists that displayed their wonderful talent did an extraordinary job and it is highly recommended that all should see this walk of history on the walls of Portsmouth, OH

This is portsmouth must see, if you don't get a chance to see anything else don't miss this. You can take your time and drive slow, or just walk. It's free and you won't be disappointed you went.
We drove down to see these walls. It is a real nice ride from Columbus. It is a site for everyone in Ohio too see. Plus, you are only out gas money.
Beautiful lifelike picture of the history of this area is well worth taking time to enjoy. You can walk along the floodwall or drive in your car.
Great Art Work you don't want to miss Enjoyed the Antique Stores and lunch at the Garage .Military Museum and Chamber of Commerce
These are some of the best paintings I have ever seen! I recognize a lot of famous people on these murals, and it must have taken years and years to make these!
Almost a mile of beautiful murals. Each panel represents some phase of our community's history. More are planned. Murals are professionally done by well known national muralist Robert Dafford.
Take a trip through the history of this little town by viewing these interesting murals. Very well done!
You can walk and walk and look and look and see something different in each picture. Good way to get to know the history of the town.

The murals on this flood wall are amazing. The entire history of the town is depicted. I guess Roy Rogers is from the area, as he and Trigger are shown on the wall. I especially liked the baseball painting.
