rogue river raft trips - day adventures

I absolutely loved our sojourn of several peaceful days of floating down the Rogue River with Rogue River Raft Trips. The scenery is beautiful, the weather in early July is hot, and the water is cold - a perfect combination! We chose the lodge option, and while the accommodations were rustic, there was always plenty of hot water, abundant food, fresh sheets and towels, and pitch darkness for a wonderful night's rest. Our guides love their work, and it shows in the pleasure they take in sharing this corner of paradise with guests. They are masterful in maneuvering the rafts and don't kid about safety. They never seem to tire of pointing out osprey, herons, eagles. We particularly enjoyed paddling our own individual inflatable kayaks for portions of each day.
