Roller coaster, water ride, nice kids activity area. We couldn't stop looking at all the cool décor! Surprises everywhere! Very crowded on a Sat. night. Beverage service while gambling was very poor....waitresses were few & far between. Was surprised at how much fun we had there!
Dear Ricco -Thanks for the positive review! We are certainly glad you enjoy coming here - and hope you continue visiting us! We pride ourselves in providing a value experience - and glad you have been taking advantage and staying in a jacuzzi suite! Come back again soon!Sincerely, Kenji Hall - VP of Operations
Stateline is dying. Not much else to say. But it is fun to wander around and look at things. I played a few slots, they were really tight that day (normal). We have never stayed at Buffalo Bills, but we do walk around it.
We stopped here on our way home to Utah. It was late at night and we were very tired and had a small child with us who was more than ready to get out of the car...We had to stand in line for about 10 minutes to get someone to wait on us to check us in. Although once a nice Western themed place, this hotel really is in need of some renovation-new paint, new carpet and fixing up of the log ride that once existed inside the main casino. Everything looked tired and dusty, but the bed was awfully comfy and we were glad to stop for the night.
This place was dead, granted it was midweek. There was minimal staff and I do mean minimal. Don't know how they stay open.
When you walk in all the lights and the atmosphere getyou excited!!! They had newer games....bells ringing....and seemed like a cool spot to lounge and hang a bit....
The Slots!!! The room was very comfortable and accessible to self-parking. Valet was available as well as 24 hour dining, and very friendly staff.
Buffalo Bill's is a casino situated mere feet over the California / Nevada state line; we stopped here for a final break on our drive to Vegas to stretch out our legs and more importantly ride the Desperado rollercoaster, which used to be the world's tallest and steepest. In 1996. Somewhat appropriately Buffalo Bill's is like stepping back in time; this is a far cry from the glitzy ultralounges and top-tier steakhouses of the Vegas strip - this is all filthy carpets, smoke-filled air, and fine dining options like Denny's.The rollercoaster itself was expensive at $10 each but well worth going on once; it's a long ride which goes all around and inside the casino, the initial drop is amazing, and the whole ride is surprisingly intense - probably aided by the now-rickety coaster's age; it feels like it's about to fall off the track on every corner. The final stretch of the drive from LA to Vegas can be boring, but if you've got at least 30 minutes to spare and you like rollercoasters I'd strongly recommend a quick stop here.
I love this place, Buffalo Bills is a great Vegas warm up driving in and a great Vegas cool down coming out. Buffalo Bills is a amazing place they offer affordable casino games (i.e., slots, black jack, poker, etc), live entertainment, a movie theatre, restaurants, thrill rides, arcade for the kids, etc. My only dislike for the place is that its a bit dated needs TLC.
Lets see if I can sum up our bad experience. We arrived, stood in line for an hour to find out that our rooms (3) were not ready. We were checked in but did not receive keys, so we were told to come back in an hour and the rooms would be ready and we could get our keys. We were also told we did not have to wait in the long line. We waited an hour but had to wait in line at the VIP counter for approx 10 minutes. While standing in line we observed the woman working at the VIP check in basically piss off everyone she spoke to. We were thinking "why would they have this rude woman working the VIP desk?" Then it was our turn. After being scolded for "being in the wrong line" she prceeded to slam stuff around and bad mouth the previous person whom had told us that we could skip the line and go to any window for assistance. Come to find out only 2 of our 3 rooms were ready, so we got our keys and went up to the rooms. They were clean with a great view of the roller coaster lol. They were ok for our weekend stay. Approx 10 minutes later we were told the 3rd room was ready. We moved our luggage in etc. and I used the bathroom. While in the bathroom I noticed that the floor had not been swept much less cleaned. The bath tube walls were dirty and the track for the bath tub doors was full of mold. Once I checked out the bathroom I looked at the rest of the room. The floor was never vaccumed, there were crumbs all over on the floor, under the beds, on the chairs. The wall next to one of the beds had fresh blood smeared on it. So we called down to complain. We were told by the housekeeping supervisor that he would get someone up right away. So we moved all of our stuff out and went over the the outlet mall to eat etc.. We returned 4 hours later (8:00PM) and the room was the same as when we left. Called the housekeeping supervisor and he stated all of his people were very bust and he even had to keep people over to catch up. Not our problem so we switched rooms. Here is the kicker. I have asthma so I had to pay $10 per night extra to guarantee a non-smoking room (why are the non-smokers being charged shouldn't it be the other way around?), so when we demaned a new room they were not going to give us a non-smoking room. We had to fight pretty hard to get one. Needless to say we will not be returning to this hotel.
We like the fact that everything is under one roof. If you want to play games, eat or go to the shops its very convenient. The rooms are clean but you can already see the wear and tear. the beds are comfortable.
We had a great time at Buffalo Bill's Hotel and Casino. Great food choices and love the slots. Games and rides for the kids if you take yours.
My stay was great I even won $625.00 during my two night stay. For a casino hotel it was very quiet during the nightime hours.
We do like Buffalo Bill's. it is a great stop after a long road trip. Get a little bit of gambling before you get to Las Vegas. it is a great start back home and try to avoid a bit of traffic home
We arrived early and they let us check in to our room. This was a Thursday so don't go during the week. Everything is closed including the rides, monorail and restaurants. My husband is disabled and we were hoping the monorail was in service but NO it wasn't. Had to leave our parking place and drive everywhere. We ate at Denny's and it was horrible. Service was fair but mashed potatoes were instant and tasted as such. Never asked us for a refill on our drinks. It took 30 min just to check out at the register and we were the only ones in line. She had no ideas how to run our credit card or some other issue. The pool is also closed at dusk so if you have children they are stuck in the room with nothing to do. The room is fair for the money but TV is awful and hardly any channels. It is next door to the Primm Hotel so you have access to the shopping outlets. Parking is free!!!
