A small parking lot off Hwy 20 just east of Valentine will get you to the trail & bridge over the Niobrara. Good walking, hiking or biking as much or as little as you care. Very scenic.

We saw the trail from Norfolk to Valentine and back from our car. However due to the length of the walk from parking to and over the scenic bridge outside Valentine we did not get to experience this scene.

This was absolutely so well worth seeing! The bridge is awesome, and the view is just gorgeous. We went about 6:30pm, and it was a really good time of day to see everything, plus it wasn't too hot. You do have to walk about 1/2 mile to the bridge, but the trail is excellent. Beautiful area! Just loved it!

The promoters did an excellent job of making this trail one of the best in the country. I only walked three miles, but the scenery was great.
