we were blown away by this market. The best source for local, fresh produce. Much of the fruits and veggies are organic. The prices are very good and you get good value and selection here. There is a vendor with Indian food to die for.

We rented a cottage in Cardiff-by-the-Sea and we found this place and bought so much local food to cook it was amazing. When we moved to Arizona from Washington we found that Arizona doesn't really have any farmers market. So before we left we bought so much stuff to take home. The food trucks were awesome. The whole experience was fun and the people who so knowledgeable.

The Leucadia farmers market is probably the best farmers market in North County San Diego. It's great for families since there is so much space for children to run around. The food options are great if you want to eat lunch there. There are benches where you can sit and enjoy your meal. They have food/produce vendors as well as jewelry and clothing vendors. You have to buy a bottle of the green juice if you go. It's healthy and tastes great. Parking isn't always easy but it's worth it if you can find a spot.

Nice little local Farmer's Market! It makes you feel at home and there are nice options from local producers for sale!

Great variety of food trucks with a good variety of foods as well as routine farmer's market products. Parking is difficult but can be found a short distance down the road in a neighboring business' parking lot.

We walk here from our home just minutes to our local elementary school which houses the Farmers Market. All local farms organic, and we have vendors that have food trucks with wonderful food to eat there. From veggies, to dog supplies and food, to clothing you can find it all! We bring our own bags and purchase alot of our veggies for the week. Gets crowded so get there early!

A lot of the vendors do the market circuit and can be found at other locations on different days of the week, but this Sunday market has the best of everything: a mostly produce section; a "food court" section; some artisans -- all excellent quality. There are picnic tables and there is free parking north of the market.(And there's a nearby trailer park that reminds me of Sweethaven in Robin Williams' "Popeye.")

Our visit to this market truly made our trip so special! We wanted to experience a farmer's market in California and we were not disappointed! A beautiful variety of fresh organic vegetables and friendly vendors passionate to tell us the backstory of their goods. Just a great experience! We bought some items to make a great meal we never would have otherwise not been able to make at home. We found great gluten-free cinnamon raisin bread and a grain-free pasta that paired wonderfully with an artisanal pesto we found there. The kindness we experienced along with the great food we bought made this trip to the farmer's market unlike any other! Just sad that we did not have enough time to linger and sample some of the hot foods they were selling as well!

We love farmer's markets and put this one on our list since we were nearby and it fit our schedule. We were not disappointed! There was a great variety of venues from crafts and handmade items to local harvests. We enjoyed talking with vendors and learning about walnuts, olive oils, mushrooms and even ready made Popsicles wrapped up in dry ice to go! They made it to the beach an hour later!

The food is really expensive, but most of it is natural or organic. The items looked great, but I didn't buy anything.

Sweet Jesus, I found my favorite farmer's market in Southern California. The Leucadia market is a haven of all that is wholesome and delicious and weird and delightful. I was especially fond of the guy selling chantarelles and shiitakes; the girl selling kombucha and kraut; the lady selling wildly delicious spice mixes with dark chocolate and coffee and cumin; the guy selling homemade barbecue sauces and rubs; and finally, the guy selling his own herbal tea concoctions. You can literally ask him anything about any of the herbs and he can tell you a whole story (dreamboat). There is fresh veggies and hot food and random, excellent artisans. A true bohemian in southern California!

because this is off the street in a school yard all families and folks young and old are free from traffic and walk, play , relax , go to the play ground while also checking the seasonal farmers and their food offerings. lots of samples of fruit and vegetables etc, crafts and plants too. I usually pick up some small or larger flower bunches too.Live music and picnic benches for eating .laid back and friendly!
