This is a stellar family owned winery. They do tasting on the week-ends and specialize in reds and some ports; they have won gold and silver medals for their wine. The tasting room is very nice and friendly. In addition, they have a beautiful patio area with tables; perfect for a lunch and wine tasting. Live music is played so it is a very enjoyable experience.The drive to the winery is scenic with gorgeous views of the valley and of Santa Clara Valley. They do have a "big dog" which is a very friendly and nice dog. The winery is ok if you bring along your dog to the tasting room.The winery also does special events and has a wine club.Tasting fees are $10 per person; the winery does allow shared tastings. Part of the tasting price can be used if you decide to purchase a bottle of wine.
