Beautiful park that is on the border of Canada and the United States. Colorful flowers in the spring and summer. Winter the evergreen shrubs and grass are quite nice and very well kept.

Due to an unfortunate circumstance, I wasn't able to cross the Canadian border. I was stuck in Blaine, and my boyfriend in Vancouver. We were planning a nice weekend together, and our trip got ruined. This place is perfect if you are ever in a situation like mine, though I hope you aren't. I was nervous coming here not knowing what boundaries you can be in, but walking into the park, there's always US border patrol right there and to be honest, they were my favorite part of all the border people I had to deal with. They were helpful and answered any questions I had and didn't treat me like like I was a prisoner for going there, which is how I felt it would feel like, that we were in jail or something. He may have been able to cross the border but we are going through paperwork for him to move here and didn't want to risk him being denied for any reason. We were able to bring lunch here, hang out and talk which was nice to be able to do despite our situation. So for those curious, you can go anywhere in the park as long as you aren't trying to cross on either side, but you don't have to actually stay "at" the border. You can bring food, picnics, etc here as long as no "gifts" are exchanged. They open the park around 8am and close it at dusk. They do have bathrooms on both sides which is convenient. The park itself is very pretty, lots of space, lots of flowers and things to take pictures of, We didn't venture around too much because we really just wanted to spend the time talking since we didn't have much time (Im sure we could have stayed there longer but I had a long drive ahead of me, and he had a long bus transport back to Vancouver). This isn't an all day kind of park, but nice for a few hour visit. I would suggest coming here to visit either way, just don't wear sandals, or heels. It's VERY muddy in a lot of the grass areas.

With large lawns and impeccable landscaping, this is worth a stop. There is a beautiful gazebo nestled into the slope that features samples of local lumber products. A gazing pool is crossed by a bridge. The park also features a rose garden, a rotating outdoor sculpture exhibit and, of course, the Peace Arch! There are bathrooms and a hall you can rent. The summer music series is inviting. Don't miss the giant rhubarb!

I've walked my dogs there many times. The grounds are well kept. On the north side of the building are rows of permanent picnic tables anchored in cement slabs fronted by a raised stage. On the west side of the building is a small wooden gazebo backed by bushes and flowers. There is a good sized grassy area in front of the gazebo, perfect for chairs for a wedding. The east side of the building has a play set for the kids. There is a fireplace inside of the building and a meeting area and a kitchen. Bathrooms are outside around the back. I've been to one wedding there and I'm currently helping plan my granddaughter's wedding there. It is also used for many community functions, but there is still room for a family picnic even when the building is rented out. Parking is good on the US side. If one wants to enter from Canada, it is my understanding that one can park in the Canadian side of the park and walk through the back gate. I've actually never tried doing that, so you might want to double check. There are border patrols 24/7 there, so bring ID just in case.

How could you go wrong with a park right on the US/Canadian Border? The sculpture looks very fragile, like it could fall with a strong wind, but maybe that is part of the message of this modern piece of art. This park is only a few acres but very nice. The views of the ocean are beautiful here. While watching the sun go down, we even saw a harbor seal pop his head up every minute or two as if he was watching us too.

I love this park, I take my lunch there when I am working in Blaine and eat there. I find it peaceful and relaxing.

A great opportunity to stroll through their beautifully maintained gardens and pathways! Meander across the border and leisurely walk on both Canadian and United States land, Walk through the peace arch and enjoy the view of The Salish Sea.

What a wonderful place. So much to explore, but not like a tourist. Enjoy the meaningfulness of each interest point. Worth a visit, for sure!

International park, well maintained with views of harbor. Attended art show, with a mixture of artists from the Northwest.

Very nice gardens in this park. However the most prominent attraction is the large white Peace Arch Monument built in 1921.

Went to a family wedding at the park and it was incredibly beautiful. Lots of shade so you don't have to sit in the sun, plenty of room for ceremony seating as well as tables and a small outside dance floor. The trees and flowers are perfect for pictures. Easy to get to and plenty of parking!

This park is on the border between Canada and the USA. You can have a large family picnic here and walk to the big Arch that indicated the border between the 2 countries. The gardens are immaculate and a great spot for photos. Go in the summer and walk into the USA without a visa for a photo, then sit at the park tables and have a picnic.
