I would suggest the season pass. That way you can go as many times as you like without standing in long lines to get in.

watching the kids have a great time, all ages.water play, children's rides, space for picnics, just wished they wouldn't charge for grandparents coming to watch!

Went here with my family and took my son for his first time. I personally like the water area more than the amusement park part of the whole area. The lines can get long, but they do well in making sure everyone gets through fast. The food here is expensive like most amusement parks, but if you pack a cooler of food you're good to go since they let you in and out until about maybe a half hour before closing. I recommend taking at least a day or two to explore the whole place and enjoy it. You can get lockers to hold your belongings as well. They rent out tubes so you don't have to wait for them either. All in all it's a fun place for the family to try out. The roller-coasters are fun, although the Wild Thing bangs your head a bit too much and after a certain time they run it two times in a row.

I have loved the wild waves since I was a child. We would drive up with a car full from Portland to the spend the whole day playing at the closest water park. I have many great memories. I am sad to say that things have changed and wild waves does not hold that high regard for me anymore. My husband and I had decided to take our daughter for her 8th bday this year. We had a group of 12 that caravaned up from Portland. We were having a great time until my husband broken his 2 front teeth being catapulted at the bottom of the Konga slides. It happened in instant. And he was flat on his face with a fat lip and busted teeth. Wild waves has liability insurance for these situations and yet they don't want to be liable. My daughter's memorable birthday turned out to be a horrid memory and has cost us thousands of dollars. The dentist were unable to save the teeth and he needs implants. It has been a horrid experience and wild waves has turned out to not to be the stand up decent company I thought they were.

Just returned from the Fright Fest with my seven year old daughter. It was perfect for her. She's a tad under 48" so lo'ts of rides were off limits for her, but so many cute kids ride to offer, that she was really happy. Lot's of fun for Pappa as well. Even the "haunted" house passed well. The actors inside do a go job, and can startle the unprepared. Most waiting times were extremely reasonable. The only ride with a longish wait was the haunted house, but we left that for the end. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restrooms mostly ok. Had some fries, but besides that we brought our own - arrived early, and parked near the gate so was easy to fetch food. Place is probably suitable for young teens. Anyone a bit older will probably expect a bigger bang. Wild Waves is more of an amusement park with basic rides, and not a theme park. Adults coming on their own might be frustrated since the really good rides are few with long lines. Enjoy!

Wild Waves is a mix of water park and amusement park, however I am not really convinced the combination works here. The water park areas appeared well used (indeed were incredibly busy), but you also had guests in swimming costumes riding the roller coasters and leaving the seats all wet...not ideal really. The wooden coaster (Timberhawk) isn't bad at all, but the Wild Thing looping coaster was rough..and to make matters worse, despite the park being crowded and the coaster having a long queue, they were sending the Wild Thing trains around twice...why? I can understand it if it was quiet, but there were long queues as it was. Some of the park was very pretty, wooded, and nicely themed, but other parts were rather bland open concrete and lacking shelter from the sun. The park does a reduced price ticket during the afternoon, so make sure you time your arrival for maximum saving.Overall the park was ok, but a few things let it down.

Overcrowded. You'll be treated to views of the parking lot and the I-5 freeway.Long wait. $10 extra for parking. Lockers cost extra as well. Slides are in need of repair. "Zooma Falls" was leaking water all over the place and on top of overhead lighting (unsafe?). Wave pool doesnt really have any real waves. The deep end was roped off so essentially there was no deep end of pool. This place is paved with jagged asphalt making it difficult to walk between water slides. Hint, carry your slippers with you or wear reef walker shoes. Get there as soon as the park opens to maximize water slides. Between 1:30PM and 6PM we were only able to ride slides 4 times. You'll probably better off at your local community pool.Lots of life guards to keep people safe. Ample parking.

kind of dirty, but fun for kids. the size is nice and the fact that it is split into two halves is nice as well

I totally disagree with all of the recent (poor) reviews. I think this place is a major, pleasant, SURPRISE. Maybe because I'm Canadian and we don't have the big theme parks, but having rides and water slides/tube rides/wave pool at the same location - for the same price - is AWESOME. Not to mention it's CHEAP at $28 per ticket for the entire day. Too bad you can't take food in, but you can get a reentry stamp and go eat in your car like everyone else. I found it great. The usual poor food choices - although I did see caesar salad and a wrap on the menu - and for the September long weekend it was totally quiet. Hardly any line ups. We thought it was fabulous and we'll be back many, many times!

OK, I loved the new big wooden roller coaster and the "Hatchet" ride as well as enjoyed the water slides. Several of the attractions were closed, maybe because it was the end of the season, but still it would have been better if they were all open. Once again, maybe because it was the end of the year, but I think the place needs some upkeep. The bathrooms were dirty, the water tubes really needed gaskets because the leaked on your head while going up the stairs and there were a lot of areas that just needed paint. The staff was bored to death with their jobs, it was hard to get any of them to even crack a smile. I had a great time there with my husband and son and I would go back, but it could be so much nicer. Also, they had a bird show that I enjoyed with many species of hawks, eagles and owls.

Group of 4 adults & 4 kids aged 8-12 had a good time. Weather wasn't super hot and the park not to it's maximum but the line ups were long. We would bring a picnic blanket or camp chairs next time as the good loungers were full. Pricey but it's two theme parks for one price (big lines for slides and little lines for rides). Lots of hills so if you are walk-challenged its harder to get around. Lazy river ride worth the long line. All in all we would be back it was loads of fun and our kids didn't mind the lines at all. They're expanding the slides so next year 2015 there'll be less lines and more fun!Food - score a 2 it wasn't great for $8-9/meal I'd pack pb and eat in my car next time! Or just get an elephant ear!

Having just moved here from California I was excited to find a nearby amusement park for my kids 6 & 11. Sadly it's more like an overgrown state fair. Small and not at all like a classic Six Flags or other Theme Park. Given the price of the tickets it's a rip off in my opinion. The water in the water slide section is freezing and if you have a kid in the > 44" but less than 48" like my little guy then he'll be bored by the kiddie rides and not allowed on the bigger stuff. He couldn't even do the Tube hill - really? We went to Legoland in the spring and he rode rides far bigger than here with no resteictions.

The only thing redeeming about this park is the roller coaster. The water park lines were so long that we gave up waiting (1+ hour long line) and didn't even make down a single slide. The park nickles and dimes you from the minute you enter - $10 to park, $21 for a locker, $9 for a chicken wrap, etc. The walkways are rough black asphalt that hurts and burns your feet. What were they thinking when the designed this park. I have been to parks around the country and I don't know how this place stays in business. It must be a haven for the minorities that have no better place to go! OMG.

Spend the day with my 6yrs and 9yrs girls, discount online save $12 a ticket. As a first time it was very good experience, the rides aren't crowded during the week in August. wave-pool tends to be very busy, lines aren't too bad overall and can get to 15 mins mid-day.Pros: great variety of water slides, we tried all of them (both kids must be over 48'), quality of the slides is good overall and the facility is surprisingly clean. Great amusement park with roller-coasters and tons of activities.Cons: Expensive ~$100 for Adult & 2 kids, Parking $10, Locker $15, Lunch $30 (terrible Chicken nuggets, dry fries and soda no refill). No sitting available as most seats were taken (bring your own chairs). cannot bring food into the park, thus many people eat in their cars.Overall had a great fun around the park, will return for sure but will bring my own food to eat in the car.

So I have been to this park numerous times and will continue to visit for the SOLE reason that this is the only theme park/waterpark in Washington state. However Wild Waves is a pathetic excuse for a theme park, and barely slides by as a water park. The Bad:-It is dirty, and looks/feels like a rundown, old park (which it is)-The rides are CRAP, there are two "rollercoasters" that are probably more classified as kiddy coasters which are barely passable. there are pretty much no other rides and you will get bored quickly just by the lack of rides.-The wave pool sucks too. i can make bigger waves jumping into a pool. THIS NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BADLY!!-There needs to be more options for water rides. Suggestions would be more 4-person tube slides, speed slides, a water roller-coaster (at least have something thrilling)-If you are a thrill seeker this park is NOT for you. There is not one ride even SOMEWHAT thrilling in my opinon. -oh and it is super expensive, defineitly not worth it!The GOOD:-The Elephant ears. These are the gem of wild waves. they are super yummy be sure to get one!-The lazy river. Probably the only attractiion that is above standard at wild waves. Glad to see they put effort SOMEWHERE!So basically if you like wasting money on a tired old theme park that seems to never get updated, this is the park for you. You would be better off just going to the beach
