Disney's Mary Poppins production in Everett was fantastic; the best show I have seen done in Everett. My British friend, however, noted that the "british" accent was not the real thing.Loved the choreography in the dance numbers - very well done. The singing and the orchestra were excellent. Great show for families, and children, as there is continuous action on the stage.

Quality performances by equity actors just a few minutes from home. We have been season ticket holders for years and find the performances outstanding. Their staging of Les Mis was one of the best we've seen - including New York.

We have enjoyed visiting the Village Theatre over the past few years and never been disappointed with the venue or the shows until we went to see Mary Poppins. The performance was average, made particularly worse by the embarrassing English accents. It was painful listening to the voices!!

The quality of acting is really quite good. For a convenient evening out with a live performance, this is an excellent option. You should look at buying tickets in advance, as I've encountered "sold out" if having waited until the last minute.

Mary Poppins was exquisite! Great acting, staging, singing. I am SO glad we attended. Kudos to those who worked so hard to put on this performance.

Very modern and well executed theatre, certainly a step up from the original venue down the street. A nice size theatre with excellent viewing from all seats. I always enjoy seeing a show here. Not as cheap as it used to be but still an excellent value.

A nice theater with no bad seats!!! Generally, the season is made up of good shows. Recently though, they seem to be experimenting with a different venue that I'm not certain is in keeping with the majority of season ticket holders.

We have been attending plays at this theater for over 30 years. It was fun watching them evolve from a tiny local show house to a major participant in the great Seattle art community. They do a wonderful job with both the plot and the scenery. You walk away feeling like you clearly got your money's worth entertainment.

Professionally produced plays in a friendly, warm atmosphere. We have season tickets and never miss a performance. We have never had a bad seat or seen a performance we did not love.

This wonderful theatre in Issaquah is currently featuring "In The Heights", a story of immigrants living in New York City and trying to make A life while struggling to make a living. The music andThe story are about where you find your "home". ForAn enjoyable evening, spend an evening at the Village Theatre. The show plays through October 26.

We have seen at least 2 shows a year for the last 10 years here, every production is outstanding. I don't even bother driving into Seattle anymore for productions, this place is better and there isn't a bad seat in the house. If you want an experience that is very close to Broadway, see a show here.

To have this level of theater this close to home is a wonderful benefit. Only go to Seattle for special performances.

This is not a small town locally cast theatre. The Village is part of the group of musical theatres in the greater Seattle area. The performers may tend to appear at one theatre more than another, but many go from location to location. And theatre in the Seattle area is marvelous.Theatre is a passion of mine, especially musicals. I have been to many productions on Broadway, and in London, Los Angeles, Detroit, Minneapolis, Dublin, and Seattle. And Seattle theatre is as good as it gets. For newbies to the Seattle theatre scene, many plays and musicals have been developed at local theatres like The Village that have gone on to Broadway success. And many of the actors that you see perform have remarkable resumes. I think they choose to work here for quality of life reasons. The Village is probably best for people who want to see quality at a smaller ticket price. The theatre itself is a basic stage unlike the theatre's downtown. One thing I do not like is there is no center aisle so I can't sit in my favorite center aisle seat. But all in all the house is small enough that you have good sight lines anyplace. Also know that The Village runs wonderful theatre schools for young people ranging from little guys getting a taste of performing to young adults preparing for careers on the stage. My daughter participated in this program though High School. She learned that discipline and hard work can lead to marvelous experiences. One time another mother whose children did not go to these classes asked if I was ever concerned about my daughter getting involved in drinking, smoking or drugs with the "theatre kids". Absolutely not. These kids are too into developing their singing and dancing to ever consider polluting their bodies. Where else offers teens that view of the world?

We got season tickets on a whim years ago expecting a homey small town production series. We were blown away by the professional level of productions and have been season ticket holders for years now. Some of the shows are not really my style but I am always glad I went (sometimes shows I am not expecting much from really in me over, like Stunt Girl).

Village Theatre always puts on a high quality show. Theatre is great - not a bad seat in the house (but I prefer the floor, about row J). I don't always love their choices of plays, but the quality is top notch.
