You spend a couple hours out on this bucolic farm with the entrepreneur owner turned farming entrepreneur showing how an organic, self-sustaining farm husbands their animals and fowl. After the barnyard tour, sample some of their delicious homemade cheese tommes and wine. Your appetite whetted, the next destination is their restaurant, La Boucherie, to partake in their ten-course feast headed by his stylish wife. We learned a lot about sustainable farming and the meal was quite enjoyable. The entire experience runs about 5-6 hours. The ferry ride over adds further pleasure and a sense of adventure. The restaurant also offers for sale some of their goodies for the trip home.
