This place has some amazing art deco light fixtures. It was a quick visit, but fun to see some of the history of indoor lighting so nicely displayed.

I'm crazy for Deco light fixtures, so this was really an amazing place for me to visit. This is a combination of store and museum. I'm not sure how I felt about the store. There's a lot of merchandise, and it's arranged in a kind of haphazard manner. It's kind of hard to understand what's available. But then there was the museum upstairs. It's free, and it's incredible. I got to see a lot of light fixtures that I'd only seen photos of in the books. Just amazing. This is not a huge museum. It'll take maybe 15 minutes to a half an hour to see both the store in the museum. The building that the store/museum is in is incredible too. Although I have to say that was kind of funny smell that was disagreeable. That being said, if this sort of thing interests you, you should go. There's nothing like it anywhere that I've ever seen anywhere before. Those light fixtures are a delight to see.

Anyone who loves old homes and buildings needs to visit this museum, which is also a retail lighting, and Victorian Renovation Store.

This is an antique, lighting and hardware store in one, but upstairs they have a unique lighting museum. Real interesting to see some of the history of this eclectic subject

If you appreciate architectual accomplishments it is worth a stop. Additionally, they manufacture many art deco designs...and they are definitely well done.

What can I say, this is an odd ball niche museum on the upper floor of a massive hardware and fixture store. But its FREE (unless you're sapped into buying something downstairs) and as a bit of an art deco geek I sort of loved it in a secret way. Free, ample parking, and unique - why not go !

I had driven by this wonderful building many times, promising myself to stop. When I finally did, and ascended the staircase, I was given a beautiful surprise. Here was a small museum that is certainly one man's love of Art Deco lighting fixtures that he is kind enough to share with the public. I spent nearly 2 hours marveling at these rare, beautiful pieces of glass art. Since I was by myself, I was in no hurry to rush. I would come back, if only to re-visit an era that reminds me of how glamour was part of everything, even the lighting

I could easily spend half a day here. If you like Art Deco, it's a must. But there is so much more in the store than is even covered on their web site. The reproduction castings are fantastic. The vintage hardware is wonderful. The building itself is so cool. Even the bathrooms are worthy of a photograph. The swan neck faucet is perfect. And they let me take photos anywhere in the store!I could go on and on, the store is just incredible, the stairs, the carpet, the stained glass, etc.Don't miss it if you are near.

Who would have thought you could find a place like this in Port Townsend? Although it's called a Museum, they actually do have a lot of pieces available for sale downstairs. Some of the sale items are lights, some are other art-deco or craftsman items, like door hardware, etc. Really a fun place if you're into art deco or if you're looking to renovate.

This gentleman has put a labor of love into hunting down and displaying the most gorgeous art deco fixtures! Most phenomenal collection I have ever seen.

We wondered what could fill up such a large building, and found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the museum section on the2nd floor. If you enjoy that particular vintage, there is quite a collection of lighting and also some complimentary items such as furniture and posters. The piped in music is appropriate and enjoyable too.

Wonderfully displayed collection of lights from the 30-50's. Someone with a passion obviously put this collection together. Great lights, trinkets, door hardware and drawer pulls for sale downstairs. Give yourself some time to browse the shop too.

Gorgeous free museum attached to large lighting and hardware store like no other. Art deco...collected over 35 years. I travel a lot and stay in many older and boutique hotels here and abroad and was amazed at the grandeur and intricacy that was around every corner of dark heavy custom made cabinets. Do not miss!!
