Excellent any day, but for rainy or cold days, this is your destination. Children who love adventure and science will be in Heaven.
I have read several of the reviews here before we went there (we have 2 small kids) and I have to say that both the good and bad reviews were able to capture some aspects of the place.I’ll start with my conclusion: we spent there 2.5 hours and my kids really enjoy it; yet I think the place is overpriced and not the cleanest.Let’s start with the pros: (1) it is a big specious place with lots of activities for both sexes. (2) Everything is meant to be touched and manipulated and kids love it.Now we will move to the cons: (1) I’ll estimate at 50% the things that does not work anymore. I think someone here did a huge mistake. The place is amazing and it is clear a lot was invested in it but it looks like someone forgot to save some money for maintenance. A place like this needs high maintenance. When kids constantly plays with the exhibitions you should expect things will break yet in here it seems as if whatever broke was left alone. With time large portions of several exhibitions are unusable (specifically, but not only, many exhibitions which have a computer or other interactive component to them). (2) Many of the attractions are far from being clean. The penguin puppets for example are supposed to be white but they are gray/black – a sign of how far in the past they were washed. Restrooms were not very clean either. In light of these problems I can’t understand how the place charges full price for enterence.
Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your recent visit to EdVenture! Your feedback is important to us. We are glad your little one enjoyed the My Backyard exhibit, it is a safe and fun spot for toddlers. In the future, you are welcome to call in advance to see if any school groups are arriving that day. We are happy to announce that we will be re-opening the cafe in March. We hope you will visit us again in the future.

If you want to throw your money away, you will get more pleasure flushing it down the toilet than going to this place. It's an eye sore to the city! It's dirty, broken, and they have the nerve to charge 11 dollars per person to get in!
I took my great granddaughter who is 2 years old. She had a ball playing in the store, playing in the fire trunkit was so much more to do.
When on the weekends trying to figure out what to do when weather is bad or good ,this is usually a good choice. My son loves the summers programs but wish they would have more variety and changes from year to year. But I guess sometimes stick to what works.
Many exhibits that could be education but need A LOT of sprucing up. Most of the second floor was under construction. There was a room on the 1st floor that allowed children to investigate body systems but the majority of them didn’t work. Could also use some deep cleaning, as I did leave feeling a little gross and germy. And Eddie, the boy kids can crawl through and learn about body systems was not quite like it was advertised. I thought he would be large enough for adults to crawl through and not much to see. Eddie seemed more of a play area at a fast food play than educational as was advertised.
