growler haus

I'm not sure how this is listed as an attraction, but I guess everyone defines a fun place to visit differently. The Growler Haus (currently spelled incorrectly above) sells craft beers and a small selection of bottled beers at their perfectly small location in Downtown Anderson. The draft beers rotate fairly often and vary enough for anyone to find something they like -- with samples available. There are a couple of TVs trained to whatever game is on and a few couches to go along with a nice, comfortable bar. I have never had anything but an extremely pleasant experience when visiting the Growler Haus and it is my go-to place for picking up beer for both visiting friends/family and anytime I want something more than what's offered at the grocery store.

The Growler Haus is a wonderful destination for beer lovers. Pleased to see SC law permits customers to not only sample, but also enjoy regional draughts onsite. The Haus has a frequent rotation of taps, keeping the experience fresh. The friendly and knowledgeable staff is a bonus.

The Growler House was recommended to us by a local. It has a small bar, plenty of couches, armchairs & other sitting inside, or they have sitting outside. The bartenders were both very nice & helpful. They helped us pick out a selection of the craft beers & gave us samples. The bartender was right the 1st time for both my & my husband's beer selection. They have some TVs for watching sports & music in the background. They also have a reward program where you get 1 point for every dollar spent, & after you get 100 points, they will fill a gallon jug with a beer of your choice.
