The price is right. $5 admission per person. Well laid out with a lot of different activities and very colorful. The spiral ladder goes to the ceiling (it is fully enclosed and safe) and is a favorite of the kids. It also has a toddler only area and a large outdoor playground.

This museum is smaller than similar ones Raleigh, Durham and Greensboro but nonetheless great in its own right. It's newish and always very clean. I've taken my kids there maybe a half dozen times and would recommend it without hesitation. It has some outdoor activities in addition to the stuff inside and also features convenient free parking. Your kids will love it. Food and drink for sale would be welcome but even without those this museum still hits a home run.

hours of interactive play time and very enjoyable for kids too! Awesome for a birthday party, provides a large room for party and lots of time for play. Great for all ages.

Spent yesterday morning with our grand daughter at the Children's Museum of Alamance County. What a wonderful experience, from the friendly and engaged staff to the wide variety of experiences available for a broad range of children's ages. Place was top notch, and we could have stayed there for several hours beyond the almost 3 we spent. A great value too!

CMAC is so much fun for kids to visit. It is smaller than some of the other children's museums in the area, which is great, because it is not overwhelming and has a cozy, family type feel to it. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The museum is kept very clean, including the restrooms. Definitely worth a visit!

A great escape from the large crowds seen at the major museums, and offers a high quality educational experience.

We took our 3 year old granddaughter to the Museum she had a wonderful. It is filled with things to do and see. She loved the paint room and the diner play area. She was able to interact with other children and cried when we had to leave because she was having such a good time. We were there 3 hours.

I know there are bigger and better places - (like the Marbles children's museum in Raleigh, for instance) - but for this area, the Children's Museum of Alamance County is hands down the best thing going for kids. The entry fee is $5 and the sights and sounds are plenty, varied, and a lot of fun. Watching our grandson play musical instruments, try his hand at cooking, shopping, gardening... and just plain old playing is fun (and very educational) for him. You'll enjoy your time there.I highly, highly recommend!

Stumbled upon this gem. There was a Lego exhibit at the adjacent arts building with the exhibit extending into the Children's Museum. My 5 and 8 year old had a great time playing here for several hours. Lots of different themed areas for the kids to enjoy. At $5/person it was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Went here to see the "Art of the Brick". Loved the Lego art. The general children's museum was great too. Lots for kids to see and do. A great outside area with a stream and sand. Lots of seating so that parents could sit and watch kids exploring and enjoying. We will visit again.

This is quite the presentation for Alamance County. By provision of funding they received, the organization must present a national art exhibit every few years and do it for free to the public. What an opportunity for the community and the greater area! We drove in from Charlotte just to see the Sawaya Lego sculptures and it was well worth the trip. We made a donation and a purchase to help support the organization and I look forward to seeing what comes next.

This tour is just fantastic and it's free. Nathan Sawaya has created a great tour with Lego bricks like you have never seen before. It is amazing what he has done with Legos. If you have a child that plays with Legos, I think they would enjoy this. It will give them new ideas of ways to use Lego bricks. Nathan's displays are so real looking. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. There is free parking in the parking lot. It's about a mile off I40 at exit 147. It is only here for a short time so go see it now. For a preview, Google or Yahoo the Art of the Brick.

Our kids had a great time here. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The place is very clean and lots of fun and educational things for the kids to do. Loved the traveling Lego exhibit.

I went to the Children's Museum with 4 kids ages 2, 4, 5, and 7, after we went to see The Art of The Brick exhibit. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, well-organized and original the space was. I have been to many Children's museums and each one has its own personality. If you are in the area I highly recommend making a stop, especially now since you can take advantage of both the museum and The Art of the Brick exhibit.
