I had been there before and enjoyed the wine for many years. I took several friends on my last trip, and we spent the whole afternoon there, enjoying the wine, leisurely talking, and admiring the views. The tasting room is modern, but rustic and elegant. We enjoyed spending time on the decks. Made for a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon. We can't wait to go back!

This was the last of the vineyards we visited in the Swan Creek AVA one afternoon. They were not busy and we enjoyed a nice tasting. I didn't care for the wines since most all they offer are the drier ones, but my friend ended up with a couple bottles. We only got lost twice on the way here, but this winery is worth the extra effort to get here.

This was our last stop for the day. Beautiful views of the vineyard and mountains. The woman helping us with our tasting was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and the process and care the owner takes in his wines. For the 1st time, the mineral taste which can accompany North Carolina red wines was explained. The area is very rich in quartz and mica. The mica adds the mineral taste to the red wines. My husband and I always knew there was something, we just couldn’t explain it. Extremely friendly and helpful. In addition, the wines were excellent.

The wine produced by this vineyard has got to be the best ever. I'm very impressed! The tasting room is always clean, and the people are friendly and always willing to help, or just sit and talk with you. A very pleasant experience every time we go there.

We really enjoyed this winery. It was a quiet Saturday we visited and had a great tasting. We were able to do what we learned is a vertical testing. The same wine from two years. This was really neat to do to see the differences the weather may have one wines two years in a row. I hate I cannot remember the ladies name that did our tasting, but she was very nice and informative. We enjoyed the wines and it would be a great place to sit out back and enjoy wine in good weather. There's also a very nice fireplace indoors.

I love stopping at this gem! The tasting room is simple and wonderful and the view is outstanding. It is enjoyable to sit outside on the covered deck and enjoy a glass.

A nice winery with some great sweet wines. Very friendly and knowledge staff. There is a wonderful deck that allows you to sit in the sun and study the light on the mountains.

I loved the quality, yet simplicity of this winery. Simple yet sophisticated in flavor. Generally small wineries are not able to produce such a vibrate clean tasting Merlot. I was very happy with my tasting and purchase. I also must give them credit to recommend another local winery competitor. I hope they get the credit for having a better Merlot than their competitor, yet thank you for your recommendation on my visit. This was the first North Carolina winery I ever experienced and because of their professional presentation and top quality wine, I continued my NC tasting journey. Give yourselves more credit and the “BEST” in Carolina.

Breathtaking views and a friendly staff that not only discusses the wines but adds a bit of history behind the winery. Very relaxing time and left with several bottles of wine.

We found this wonderful vineyard on our first visit to the Yadkin Valley wine region. We were instantly hooked! The wines are wonderful with a good selection. Every time we have been here the owner is around, and involved. The view and atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. A glass of wine from the tasting room, and some time on the porch will make everything better! Each trip finds us carrying out two cases:). Highly recommended! This is not the large commercial operation you often see. Don't miss this one.

This is my new favorite winery in the NC wine country. Love their selection and the setting is just fabulous! Take a picnic lunch and sit under covered porch or outside deck and enjoy the view. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly! Can't wait to go back!

This is worth visiting; it's a little off the beaten path. Tasting Room is a friendly, wonderful environment. We sat on the porch and enjoyed a relaxing time. When I think about my trip to Yadkin Valley, these are the wines I think of. Wish I had bought more bottles there. I love the dry Riesling.

We have been to most of the wineries in the Yadkin Valley of NC, but we overlooked this gem. It is definitely one of the better wineries. It's owner, Charles, is a gracious gentleman with good wines and an excellent view. We could see all the way to Grandfather Mountain!!! Definitely will return to visit again.

I've visited this winery several times and always enjoy myself there. The owner is extremely friendly and will spend time with you describing the wine making process and the history of the winery. The wine is good for the area and I love the log cabin feel inside. The views are also amazing! You must sit on the patio with a glass a wine! This one is off the beaten path, but worth it.

We found this winery by accident about 2 years ago. We were so impressed that we made an effort to go back this spring. Very nice owner. We rarely drink white wine and never dring sweet wines. We are red wine drinkers and thought the wine were good.
