The building is a small two story building on a side street next to the Dale Earnhardt Memorial Park. Parking is available out front, there is not parking lot.Great place to visit. Last time I was there, there is no admission but donations are highly encouraged to keep the doors open.There are pictures, clothing, musical instruments, records and other music artifcats that celebrate music and musicians that have a tie to North Carolina.The knowledgable staff is friendly, never crowded and can leave you alone to observe on your own or give you a personal guided tour.Definately a treat and learn something new about music in NC.

Very interesting. Well presented, very clean and organized.The Amercan flag out front should be replaced.

Right downtown in Kannapolis, NC, not far from Interstate 85, is the NC Music Hall of Fame. The displays are from those stars who have donated memorabilia following their induction into the Hall - Clyde McPhatter (Drifters), Nina Simone, Roberta Flack, Randy Travis, Ben E King, Andy Griffith, etc, etc! No charge for admission, donations accepted. The best part of all is meeting Eddie Ray, a legendary pioneer in the music business. Eddie was there at the beginning of rock and roll and has known everybody in the business. A fascinating man with great stories to tell!

I enjoyed it vey much, staff was very friendly and also own curb which it is nascar musement The man that was there the day we went wonderful ,great with the kids and let then get in race car fun fun

We were able to park on the street near the entrance to the facility. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly guide who provided much information about the NC Music Hall of Fame and the honorees. There was much interesting information and artifacts on display about the musicians who were selected. I strongly recommend this experience for all who are interested in music.
