We went as a group of 4, and 2 folks joined us. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean, if a little hard to find. The puzzle was very difficult but fun--I felt a little lost at times but it felt great each time a code was broken, etc! We did solve the challenge with six minutes to spare.

This was our first experience with an "Escape the Room" type event although we're a group of avid gamers who love puzzles. We did the NC Photo hunt with six people and throughly enjoyed it. It was really well designed to be challenging but not frustratingly difficult. While you are allowed to do the room with only two people, we took almost the whole hour with six, so I'd recommend doing it with as many people as possible.

My company set up a team building event at Cipher Escape for our management team. It was not only a great team building experience, but it was amazingly fun at the same time. Cipher Escape challenges your brain to problem solve complex puzzles in a fun and challenging way. Cipher Escape also forces you to maximize your combined thinking power and ability to communicate effectively with other team members.I will definitely return to do more rooms at Cipher Escape!

I went with three friends, and we had an amazing time! The venue can be tricky to find in the dark (which we did), but it was well worth the look. The facility is clean and professional, the owners are friendly and accommodating, and the experience is so much fun! Best money I've spent for an hour, hands-down.Everything was cleverly done. A staff member monitors the room and has a walkie talkie so you can communicate if you need help or there is an emergency. There is also an emergency exit button if anything happens, which I found comforting. Not that it's dangerous! I'm just a worrier, and that button made me feel a lot better. :)We had so much fun that we're already planning the next visit and wondering which friends will be up to the challenge of Cipher Escape!

This was so much fun! Everyone should definitely check this place out. It is challenging but not impossible. Everyone above the age of ten will enjoy it. We were able to crack the NC Pictures room with about 4 minutes to spare.

This was one of the best team building experiences that I have ever been a part of. I went with a group of 10 co workers (sadly we did not escape) This was extremely fun and VERY challenging and requires teamwork and communication!! When they say you will be locked in a room and have to solve clues to escape it seems easy right? NOT........ the clues are not just silly or simple riddles written down on paper... it's not even clear what type of "clues" you are looking for.This is not only a great team building event for coworkers but would also be great for a girls night, date night etc. Great time, great experience and lovely owners as well!

I was invited to come check out Cipher Escape’s Geek Escape Room by some seasoned Escape Enthusiasts. I’d heard good things, but obviously I went in not knowing exactly what to expect. Most of the group had been to, and successfully escaped rooms before – but me another guy in the group were escape room virgins. From the moment the clock started to countdown of our 60 short minutes none of that mattered, and it was just us against the room! I will not spoil the fun - because holy crap it was a ton of fun! – but I do have will say: First-timers, do not fear! Because I was a part THE FIRST GROUP EVER TO ESCAPE THE GEEK ROOM MORRISVILLE, NC! Definitely bring all of your wits with you. Having a group who can work well both individually and together is also key. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely not impossible. Many many thanks to Cipher Escape and their staff for an awesome experience!

This morning we were looking for an activity that would interest my husband, myself, and our 14 and 12-year-olds (an eye-rolling, tough audience). We stumbled upon Cipher Escape from the Raleigh CVB website. You are locked in a room filled with hidden clues and you have an hour to unravel the puzzles and escape. We were cocky and thought we wouldn't have any trouble--it was tougher than we expected! But each of us had different skills to contribute and together we almost made it! I could not recommend this higher. We had a marvelous time and can't wait to go back and try the harder room next time!

Cipher was exhilarating and exiting. It is obvious the owners have a strong passion for puzzles. The actual puzzle itself was just the right amount of difficulty that challenged our intuition, but did not leave us defeated. I could only think about the puzzle for hours after I had left, so I'd say they are doing a great job!

My girlfriend and I tried geek room tonight, it was a whole lot tougher than I had imagined. But it was still a blast, all the puzzles came together so well. We didn't escape, but I'm ready to go back and try again. Can't wait to try the other rooms!

Cipher was a fun, family friendly, exciting escape game. The owners were very friendly and ensured a great experience was had by all.

Had an absolute blast! The puzzles are just the right difficulty to keep you thinking the whole time. Solving one was always met with excited cheers and laughter. I am looking forward to returning to try one of the other rooms!

A fun activity for those who like games and puzzles. The hour goes by FAST, and you have to work as a team. We were worried it would be too easy, but that was not the case! Just the right amount of challenge; puzzles were thoughtfully designed and entertaining. A great experience.

From the moment you are locked in the room, until the moment one hour goes by the adrenaline is pumping. We had a group of four. The amount of skill it takes to solve the puzzles is pretty high. With each code deciphered you feel a great deal of satisfaction. I would definately return to this business without any hesitation, and look forward to the new rooms that they are making.

Had an awesome time, went with my siblings 29-34 age range and we all worked hard and didn't escape but was a great bonding experience cant wait to go back!
