I love going to this drive-in. They keep the old time feeling with the new times. If you want the fun times of when you were young, you have to come. Can't wait till it opens this year

It's a fun experience. Not super cheap, but no movie theater is. It does get very busy! I d plan on getting there fairly early!

This place is great! You can make a full night of moving watching with friends or loved ones for such a great value. The on site snack bar has great prices and has a real great retro feel. I suggest everyone to go here and bring some chairs and sit outside of your car and enjoy.

This is a MUST DO for visitors! I grew up going to the old Clarksville IN drive-in. Once that closed I only knew of indoor theaters which are expensive, especially with kids!My family has gone to the Georgetown Drive-In since moving local, even with little ones (who sleep comfortably on a blanket spread in the grass). It is great relaxing family time. Kids can play, parents can relax, picnic (my teens pick up pizzas on the way & pack a cooler). This is a place that you feel nostalgia, like youve time traveled. They frequently have music, pet-friendly days & horror films in Oct. The food is great too (gotta try it). Just remember BUG SPRAY, Chairs & a blanket! You will meet friendly people, see new releases, a gorgeous sunset, the moon & stars, & the familiar dancing food on the screen at intermission. Not bad for 10 bucks.

If family nostalgia is your thing, this is it. Watch a double feature under the stars. This drive-in theater sits on a hillside so it has a natural slope down to the screen. There is a play ground for the kids. The Snack Bar is a must visit, just for the nostalgia. They have installed the new digital projection system, so they can show the lastest features. Bring some lawn chairs and your own snacks if you wish. Cross your fingers if the weather looks like rain.

Last night we went for the double feature of How To Train A Dragon 2 and Maleficent. This was our first visit to a drive in for many years. They opened the gates at around 7:30 and many people were there to get a good seat. They had a live band playing some oldie rock and a small playground for the kids to pass the time. There was also enough room by the playground to toss the frisbee and balls around. The concessions are very inexpensive and good quality. We had a blast.

Pack your cooler, lawn chairs, blankets and a big radio and bring the family to the drive-inn! It's a great way to spend an evening reconnecting with your family no matter what the age. You can bring your own treats or visit the concession stand for things like hamburgers, hotdogs, fried pickles, fried twinkies, pizza and of course popcorn! There are two movies on each of the two screens and they are the same as what is playing in the local cinema. Prices average around $10 for adults.

We go to the Georgetown Drive-In every summer. Why? Because it is great fun for our family at a locally owned establishment. The movies are always current and because there are two screens, the owner has the option of keeping families happy on one screen and those who don't mind a bit scarier movie happy on the other screen. I would suggest to bring something for the kids to play outside with (small ball) and to come early. The playground is OK, but it gets a bit busy. The concession choices are plentiful and the food area has stainless counters and such where they serve. It looks good and it keeps the area clean.

A drive-in movie what can you say. On a warm summer evening there is nothing better. Arrive early pick your spot, get your snacks out or purchase from the snack bar. If you have kids there is a playground while you wait for the sun to drop. It's a good all around good time for families, couples or just a group of friends.

With three screens the Georgetown Drive In is perfect. Each screen shows two movies each night, make sure you get there at least 30 minutes before the showings begin to get a spot. Otherwise, come back after the first showing and there are always lots of spots, plus it is cheaper!

My brother and I went to this drive in to see the original Child's Play one Saturday. The owner of the drive in was able to work something out with the promoters of the Louisville Fandomfest where 1 -2 of the guests come out to the drive the weekend of the con and the drive in plays one of said guest's movies. Admission to the drive in is cash only, but the concession stand does take debit and credit cards. Concessions are also quite reasonably priced compared to other movie theaters in the area. One bit of good news is that the owners were able to raise the money to upgrade to digital projectors, so they will remain in business for the foreseeable future.

The Georgetown drivein is a hit with both young and old. Our kids (ages 12, 10 & 7) want to come at least once every summer. It is great to get a group of cars and park together. Take your lawn chairs and go early. It gets crowded and really hard to park as it is closer to movie time. For example, we go at 7:30 for a 9:30 movie. Check the webpage for special fun nights - -sometimes they have the bubble bus or pony rides. They have a playground and basketball hoops. We take frisbees and footballs and the kids play while the adults visit in lawn chairs. Take glow sticks for your kids as it starts to get dark. We take pillows and blankets and let the kids camp out in the back of the van or on blankets on the grass. It is ALWAYS FUN!! Very family friendly. There is a concession stand. Drinks are $2.25 (no refills) as are slushies. We usually take our own cooler and pop our own popcorn. You also pay by the person on most movie nights, not by the carload. However, you get to see 2 movies for that price back to back. If you have little ones, you may want to park closer to the front, as there is a second screen at the back to the side and sometimes it is not playing a G movie even if you are there to see a G movie on the big screen. Just position your car closer to the front so your kids don't see something you don't want them to. All in all a favorite experience. There is a McDonalds at the exit heading towards the theater too and a mexican restaurant right near if you need food before you go in. Or want to take in dinner. There is blueberring picking at this same exit if you want to go early and pick at Bryant's Blueberry farm and then head in to see the movie. That is a favorite trip every year too! Have fun!

If you want to do something different with the kids, plan a night at the drive -in! Brings back memories and so much fun! Most families "tail-gate" and bring blankets, lawn chairs, ice chest with snacks and drinks. There are concessions available as well.

Been going to the Drive-in for at least 15 years. It is a great family experience for young and old alike. The concession stand prices are VERY reasonable and they have special events during the summer..Opens in late spring and Closes in late October.
