tribute brewery and taphouse

Tribute Brewery is one of my favorite breweries to stop at in Wisconsin. They are only open limited hours on the weekend but when they are open it is usually full (it is small) so be prepared to stand. The beer selection is perfect and prices for a pint are very reasonable. The owners are very welcoming and remind you to throw your peanuts on the floor (yes they have free peanuts & popcorn). If you are in the Eagle River area Tribute is a great place to stop for a refreshing beer (no tours or food).

We have been going to Tribute since it was opened and we love it!! Fantastic beer options ranging from what they brew (which is amazing) as well as other great Wisconsin beers. Grab a few beers here with family, friends or as a couple before or after dinner or even bring in your own food. The staff is really friendly and knowledgable plus the ambiance is a refreshing change from other Northwoods establishments!

Didn't even know the place was there when we found in in January of 2014. Tucked back off the main road on a service road, but was worth the stop. Their different beers made on site along with a casual atmosphere made the time a lot of fun. Not sure if they were open this past Derby weekend.

Off in a large pole shed, you might pass this place up, but don't! After we finally parked on the street since the small lot was full, we made our way into the building, and felt like we had come upon a secret high end tasting bar, but that was only because it was so quiet inside with groups of people gathered about taking serious interest in their beer. Other groups were playing board games. People glanced at us as if acknowledging we were about to be let in on the secret, and they were right. First, it is a pole shed, with a simple bar and a few tables scattered about, but we really liked that. Grab some peanuts and popcorn, get a beer description sheet and order a generous flight of beer for an incredibly reasonable price. ($11 for 6 samples that measured about 8 ounces) Stick with their homemade brews, which are delicious. Our favorites were the very hoppy Imperial IPA, and the beer with chocolate, and the other beer with coffee. We left after our sampling for dinner as no food is served here, but we did not leave empty handed: a growler came home with us filled with our coffee beer. We will be back!

Right from the start, pulling up the to warehouse/garage type venue I wasn't expecting much. But the interior is clean and cozy. The beer is amazing, highly recommend the sampler to get a little taste of everything before indulging in a few full sized pints. They had yummy popcorn and peanuts but also welcome patrons to carry in their own food. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. It's the kind of place where you can easily find yourself chatting with other beer lovers, great atmosphere. My only wish is that they would expand their hours, though I'm sure their current hours make the most sense in a small town like Eagle River. Can't wait to go back!

If you like beer, in the Eagle River area, you need to find your way to Tribute. Don't go expecting to see the game - because you will not. Show up expecting quality beer and you will not be sorry.

Tribute Brewery has six of its own beers on tap and six more guest craft beers, usually from Wisconsin. You can bring your own food or just enjoy the beer with popcorn and peanuts. The taphouse is very plain. However it is an excellent environment to strike up a conversation with fellow craft beer lovers. The owner will even play your vinyl record. The first anniversary beer was a delicious saison.

Absolutely love this place. it is hidden away off the downtown area but worth finding. The local beers are great, especially the sampler. Free popcorn and peanuts.

This place is not fancy, but has excellent beer and very friendly staff and was clean. Had a great time at Tribute!
