The Wildwood Zoo is one place we always visit when in Marshfield, which is about once per month. The lynx and the mountain lions are our favorites. The mountain lions can be fun and a little scary. They always stalk our young girls when there's no one else around! Makes us happy that they're "double-gated." All the other attractions are nice too...the lone wolf, the birds-of-prey, the art, and the endless geese and ducks! There are pending improvements that will probably make this place really unique for central WI! We usually donate, but one thing that makes this place great is that it's free! Just make sure you know the summer/winter hours!

Wildwood is fun in the summer with all the critters present, but in the winter, with the Rotary "Winter Wonderland" lights, it becomes truly amazing!! Must see sometime during December.

We really like this zoo.The animal exhibits are clean and easy to access. Our greatgranddaughter loves to visit. Sometimes we just drive through on a Sunday afternoon. The drive is open year round. There are several events sheduled annually so there isalways something going on.

Went on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasnt crowded at all. My son and I enjoyed our time walking around looking at the animals. The gift store and concessions were not open. Had they been I'm sure we would have spent some money!

We routinely take trips to Wildwood Zoo. It's free, clean, and has a variety of animals (you won't see elephants or giraffes, but there are owls, mountain lions, wolves, prairie dogs, geese, and things like that. They have beautiful seating areas, clear walkways, and a walking/driving path which takes you to see Bison, elk and deer. After taking either a relaxing stroll around the zoo or a jaunt around the driving path, you can head over to the wildwood park and let the kids run off any excess energy.

The zoo is free and is in excellent condition. Great staff from the city and is in excellent repair. Sadly Miss Grizz the Grizzly bear has passed away but they are attempting to fund a new, expanded bear enclosure to get another.

I use to love visiting the this zoo when I was younger. They really need to update a few things and get some more animals in there. I know they are working in bringing in a bear again after the one they had passed away from old age, also need to add another wolf. Still a nice place to visit if you are in the area. I am looking forward to some of the changes they are working on.

Wildwood Zoo actually give you two options. A Drive thru area or you can park and wander around seeing more animals. I would suggest you do both. If possible take a picnic lunch as there are a lot of places and tables available. I always enjoy the buffalo, elk and wolves. Give yourself at least a half day to really enjoy the park. If you have kids bring bread for the ducks and maybe even catch a few pan fish in the lagoon.

It's not a large zoo, but it's by free will donation - very well kept and easy to get to. There is also a lovely park at the entrance. I would recommend it.

Visited the zoo, there are a few animals, very few compared to what we are used to. The facilities were at least clean and easily locatable which was nice. There simply was not much to do or see.

Beautiful FREE park and zoo area. A lot of animal and bird of prey exhibits. It's particularly nice in the fall to bring the kids to feed the ducks and geese. Another nice feature is during christmas the park is decorated with well over 1 million lights for either driving or walking through. It's especially beautiful when the snow is falling. Did I mention it was free? The holiday light show requests a donation to support food pantries and please consider dropping a few dollars in the zoo donation as well. You won't be disappointed.

Can you get much for free these days? Well Marshfield Zoo is top notch and it is free. You can drive through or there are great walking paths to see even more. This is a must for us each trip. This place holds many dear memories.

This is the perfect place to take the kids to get out of the house. Its free to enter/visit, but make sure you bring some quarters to feed the ducks/geese. It has a great walking route that goes around some of the habitats, and you can check out the Zoo Crew (an educational/hands on program for the kids) only $5 for the year. http://ci.marshfield.wi.us/parksrec/?id=11974
