I can't believe that there is only 1 review of this restaurant and it is so negative. This is not a bar in the woods. It is a restaurant in a great location. So, yes, their prices are a little higher but most people come here to eat NOT to drink. We have always had a great lunch here and on this visit we sat outside on the deck over the water. Three of us had the blackened grouper and the fourth had a chicken sandwich. All of them came with seasoned fries. The sandwiches were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by our guests . Our waitress was pleasant and the food was served quickly. Give it a try. It is open year round.

The view is great, but the drinks were outrageously expensive even for Minocqua. We paid $7.00 for a regular mixer (not a call brand) in a plastic cup. I would suggest to find another place if you are looking for drinks on a warm summer day
