Big screen, the best popcorn and up to date movies. It's the only place we see movies!! We started going there 30 years ago and still love it!

The fact that a cozy, small town theater can not only survive, but thrive these days is nothing short of amazing. No, it's not second run movies...they show current hits at prices most people paid in the 1960s and 70s! Oh yeah, and generous servings of fresh popped popcorn with real butter for $1? You'll think you traveled back in time! This gem has been in River Falls since the 1920s and is better than ever. No rocking seats or stadium seating? Who cares!

The Falls Theatre is an icon in western Wisconsin. It shows first-run movies at very reasonable prices ($4/adult, $3/kids), has real buttered popcorn, pop, and treats that are very affordable, and tends to run family-oriented movies. It is famous locally for people stopping by just to buy the popcorn. For anyone who would like to have a movie experience that is family friendly and is outside of the major multi-plex settings, the Falls Theatre is highly recommended.
