troll beach

We like this place because it is part pool, part beach. My daughter loves the sand and the slides. I like the price and the convenience. The changing rooms are not very nice. A small concession stand and a playground outside the pool.

It is probably a really fun place for younger kids and familys, but Im 16 and I went here with some friends.... It wasnt fun. There are a few slides and stuff to go down and the water seemed clean its just more of a family and kids environment.

What a fun place! Big sand beach and was surprised that the bottom of the "pool" was actually sand. So like being in a lake, only without the critters and the weeds. Lots of shade to sit in, even some grass. The inflatables are, for the most part, in very deep water, so be careful if your kids want to go on them and aren't very strong swimmers. The kids I took rated it a 4/5, missing a 5 due to not being able to see under water with their goggles on. They're used to a swimming pool!Concessions are nicely priced, and even though we got into a pretty long line on the 15 minute break, it moved very quickly.Wish I had known I could bring in chairs to sit on. Will do that next time.You cannot bring in anything but water, though I saw people doing so.They do not take plastic, so bring your cash!Not a very big parking lot, but quite a bit of quiet street parking.Women's bathroom was a little bit scuzzy, but have been in worse.We'll go again!

Great place and inexpensive. Lots of shade and plenty to do in the water as well. Heavy presence of life guards and they enforce rules and safety.

Although the address on TripAdvisor states this beach is in Massachusetts, Troll Beach is in Stoughton, Wisconsin!My family and I have been attending Troll Beach for a number of years and have always enjoyed spending time there. The inflatable obstacle course and slides are fun for my older kids, while the younger kids enjoy the smaller slides and shallower water. The staff is always friendly and the price is definitely affordable. The additions to the snack bar this year are terrific! Nothing says summer like a good old fashioned Chicago style hot dog!

Even though the address here says this is in Massachusetts, this attraction is in Stoughton, Wisconsin. We have 10 year old children and this was the perfect summer day location. It is all sandy beach and the water is clean and cared for. There all kinds of inflatables and slides in the lagoon with plenty of shade when needed. There is a snack bar and clean restrooms. Plenty of people but not crowded.We had to go back a second day on the demand of our children. Very inexpensive, just a few dollars for each.
