What a great little movie theater! It's so nice to watch a movie and buy refreshments without having to worry about missing part of the show. The concession stand is right in the theater. Very comfortable movie theater seats, terrific sound and great value. I highly recommend the Three Lakes Center for the Arts.
For a small town they have brought in a great variety of entertainment and they also show movies. Cute place
What a lovely theater! The items for sale created by artists are well priced and beautiful! Any of the art would be a nice gift. The show we saw was outstanding!Prices for snacks and admission were extremely reasonable! Calendar reflects some free showungs as well.
Area residents and out of town visitors alike will appreciate this wonderful facility. The variety of entertainment has a little something for everyone's taste. The Center brings in talent throughout the year each one different than the last. The original theater building brings back memories of attending movies there back in the 50's and 60's as a child. Be sure to fit this into your schedule when in the area.
wow! it looks like a giant air raid shelter from world war 2You can catch famaily programs, sing alongs and even the latest moviesvery comfotable but only one thetre but that is what to exept in a small town that was voted the single best smalll town in america.
The 3 Lakes Center for the Arts is a class act in a small town. The artists who display their works there are truly talented and creative. The small movie theater(not always open for movies) is a true delight. The atmosphere inside the small theater is cozy and comfortable(can have wine or beer with your popcorn). Worth a stop!
This is a multi-use facility where wonderful artwork is displayed, performances are held and movies are shown. There is always something going on and everything is great.
An old theatre remodeled into a non-profit art gallery and movie theatre. First run movies, speakers, music events, comedians, magic shows---they've offered it all. Beautiful building, all run by volunteers. Catch a movie (beer and wine available), pick up something at the art gallery for yourself or gifts, and drop a little change into the donation 'paint can' to support these terrific local asset.
Saw a couple great musical acts here this summer. One of 12 standing quonset hut theaters left in America. DO NOT miss this art center theater if you get to the Wisconsin north woods. Check out (www.tlcfa.org).
Right in the center of town, this renovated building provides 3 Lakes with its own cinema and theater as well as a mini art gallery. Did not get to see a live show but IronMan was playing in the theater. They do not have the latest movies (you need to travel to Rhinelander or Eagle River) but there is a summer program of movies and live entertainment. The seats are roomy and popcorn is plentiful. Cozier than your local cinema, a great asset to the sinle best town!
The theater is like going back in time 60 to 70 years, Its really neat!!!! , Just saw 42, the Jackie Robinson story there this week. We like nostalga and a small theater with only 125 seats in 8 rows is really cool. Fresh popcorn just before the movie starts with only a couple dozen other people in the place is really different from the big crowded complexes downstate. Will go back again whenever something we want to see is showing.
I remember the old movie theatre! This one is fabulous! Comfy chairs and the concession stand (including beer and wine) is very reasonable. You can kill time before the show looking at various Wisconsin artists. They did a beautiful renovation job.
This is the the place to go to for wonderful entertainment and browse the works of Wisconsin Artist. The Center brings in great entertainment at under $20 and many times much less. The Theater has wonderful, rocking, comfy chairs, concessions with wine and beer IN the theater, so you don't have to miss a minute of the performance, bistro tables and they also show movies on the weekends.. Summer and winter this is the place to go after dinner and a great place on that occasional rainy day. It was started and is run by volunteers so the atmosphere is friendly ( like everywhere in 3 Lakes) . Don't miss it. A renovated quonset hut, built by Cy Williams, you won't believe the charm. A great way to support the arts in one of the mostly wonderful towns in Wisconsin.
