If you can climb to the top, do it! The views are gorgeous and well worth the hike. The trails are very well maintained.

You have to hike this for the awesome views. A sunset hike here would be very romantic! Make sure you have good shoes, as it gets a little steep. Start just past the park entrance building and end at the boat landing to get the entire hike at it's fullest!

First visit to area and will now be one of my WI State Park favorites. Beautiful hike, that has a million dollar view of the Mississippi Valley. But I would strongly encourage starting at the Park office, or south side, and come down on one of the two other paths. The South side path is kinder with its switchbacks. Whereas the West path is all stairs and is friendly going down, but not up. If you take in Brady's Bluff, it still is important to also do the Perrot Ridge trail. We went from North to south and although it was steeper climb, the view was also beautiful, and we followed an awesome gorge coming back down.

My husband & I decided (upon recommendations from Perrot State Park Staff) to begin our hike up Brady's Bluff from the East Trail (a more gradual climb) and down the West Trail (which has a lot of stairs). The view of the Mississippi River and Trempealeau Mountain from the top is just beautiful! Would do this hike again! A must do when visiting Perrot State Park!

This year I found it much easier to hike this trail than when I went to the top 4 years ago. The map suggested 3 hours round trip, but it only took us 2 hours and we spent quite a bit of time on top resting and taking pictures.

The view was beautiful! Make sure you don't have a heart or breathing condition because it is a big climb to the top.

Brady's Bluff is an excellent hike and had great views of the Upper Mississippi River Valley! Highly Recommend it!

This is a neat trail. I can climb it, takes me a while but when you get to the top it is well worth it.

This is a delightful hike to a magnificent overlook. The going is steep!

The hike to Brady's Bluff is the most commonly hiked trail in Perrot Park. It offers a grand view of the Mississippi River and Minnesota on the other side as well as other parts of the park. There is even a chance that you will see a hawk or two circling above you head as you climb up. They seem to live there. I would suggest starting your hike at the Mounds parking lot just past the ranger station. You can then come down the other side, which includes a number of stairs, at the boat landing.
