First I have to say I'm not a big fan of gardens but this was such a let down. Labyrinth, in mind, means something to get lost in. You can see from one side to the other and to walk the path around and around just to look DOWN at flowers seemed such a waste of time.My friend from out of town is a big flower fan and had to walk the perimeter and take lots of pictures. However, being older she had no desire to try to bend around on the little inside path.We saw it and took pictures and probably only spent 20 minutes, maybe 30 with the walk from the parking lot.

Its about the size of a big living room. Takes 10 minutes to complete...nothing special at all...just some flowers. I've seen more impressive back yards.

The labyrinth is ever changing. Spring through Fall the garden keeps changing. It is fun walking through the maze as you reach the bench in the middle. Memorial stones are placed for love ones along the way. A giant mosquito made of metal adds whimsy to this garden. This is one of only a few such gardens in the state and is definitely worth the time.

Beautiful beautiful gardens with an amazing sculpture in the center. Very lush, changes almost daily from spring through fall. Many plantings, American Hemerocallis (Daylily) Society display garden. I ride my bike here a few mornings a week before work to enjoy the glory of the blooms and set myself in a peaceful mood before heading to the job. It's interesting to walk the outside and read the stones memorializing loved ones and celebrating loved ones. You can't help but be touched at these tributes. Bring your camera, wonderful place to practice photography, and closeups of flowers. It's such an incredible garden, I feel so lucky to have it in my city to enjoy.

If peace and love could be planted, you might find them right here in the Labyrinth Garden Earth Sculpture in Regner Park in West Bend. The garden has grown since it was built by volunteers in 2005. According to the City of West Bend website, "the Labyrinth Garden Earth Sculpture was designed in the tradition of a seven-circuit Cretan labyrinth, and is 90 feet in diameter. The grassy pathway is lined with a garden full of perennials, annuals, herbs, bulbs and ornamental grasses. It is maintained by local volunteers; anyone is the community is welcome to participate in this ongoing process." It's a delightful, deliberate wandering space to do some serious, or not so serious, thinking at any time of the year.

When the world is feeling very stressed this is the perfect place to renew your inner self. The flowers are beautiful and ever changing thru the season. Butterflies flutter from one flower to the next drawing your eyes to all the colors and textures. The flagstone memorials give you pause to reflex. The entrance to the garden reminds you of a bygone era. So remarkable that this beautiful garden is planned, planted and maintained by volunteers. A true gem not only to West Bend but to Regner Park. For a group of volunteers to have raised funds and done all the planning, planting and maintainance of such a wonderful place to visit, this Labyrinth Garden is amazing and gorgeous in the summer. Besides walking the grass pathway of the Labyrinth for meditation or just coming to enjoy the collection of daylilies, iris and many other perennials in bloom, it is a pleasant place to picnic. It is in a public park and is free and available to all whenever the park is open. June is probably the best time to visit to take advantage of the abundance of daylily blooms.

I live in West Bend and I visit the Labyrinth Garden a few times each season to see how it continually changes and renews itself. I love to read the personal reflections inscribed on the flagstones along the path - each one a reminder of someone who was loved and cherished and now no longer with us. The labyrinth walk is for me a contemplative experience and though I've enjoyed many labyrinths in my travels, this garden labyrinth is the most beautiful - so full of life. It sits in a park alongside the Milwaukee river - free and open to anyone who wishes to take a few minutes and relish life's ever changing wonder.

This garden is in the form of a labyrinth featuring a great many flowers that grow well in the West Bend area. It is well kept by local volunteers. A local treasure.

The Labyrinth is unlike anything I have seen before for free. There are a variety of flowers and plants and the folks in charge make sure there is always something blooming. Volunteers maintain the garden which is another reason it is so fantastic.

We walked the labyrinth after geocaching but before the drawing started. I was explaining the use of the labyrinth while we admired the beautiful flowers along the paths.
