cranberry highway

It was very hard to find Cranberry Bogs anywhere near the highway, we searched and searched. Even asked people and they said there were very few. We finally found two bogs.

Beautiful central Wisconsin! While we were too early for prime bogs viewing, the scenery was beautiful!

Lots of wild life to see. Eagles and swans have been sighted! Cranberry harvest is always very intresting and a beautiful sight as the Berries are gathered up!

Wisconsin is the #1 producer of cranberries but not a lot of people know that!! Great way to learn about this state's fruit and see first hand what happens on a cranberry marsh!

We did see a few cranberry farms and cranes going down the road but nothing to get out of the car for...

Loved the scenery...beautiful countryside. Will definitely go again later in the fall for more fall colors.
