The crew at GLB is really welcoming and lets you go through the beer lineups in a very casual and no stress environment. There isn't very much in the way of accouterments or formal tour, but the beer is cold and good and you can try some well made beers! If you're looking for a place to hang out and drink beer, this is a good place. If you're looking for a formal tour or fancy tap room, it's not a good bet!

Loved this little brewery in a "hard to find" industrial park off hwy 120, it is behind the animal clinic - Friendly, helpful people, not fancy but FUN space with Great beer. The wheat and Octoberfest beers were our favorite - If you are a snob or complainer don't go here!!

We love to visit and try local breweries whenever we travel. This brewery's 'taproom' is quite small and it's hard to see where the storage room stops and the 'taproom' begins because there is clutter everywhere. They were friendly enough there and the beer was tasty but there was just something about this place that I never felt quite comfortable there although I could not put my finger on it. If we were to return I would refill my growler for sure but if the 'taproom' still looked the same I would pass on enjoying a beverage there. I keep putting taproom in quotes because there was personal stuff everywhere, supplies overflowing into all areas and boxes galore everywhere we looked. Not a bad place but not your typical taproom either.

They have a nice taproom where you can sample the beers. They will also give an impromptu tour if they are brewing that day. I find them friendly and warm. They even remember you've been there on your next visit. There is a great option to try flights of the brews. Off the path location that you need to navigate to.

I was visiting LG and decided to get to know the brewery with a couple of friends from abroad. We arrived around 4pm in the middle of the week and the place was packed with around 15 people sitting and drinking. We said "Wow, this place must be nice".Our first impression was not good as there was a table in the middle of the saloon where the owner and friends were drinking and speaking loud. As soon as we entered they stopped talking and turned the eyes to our group. We then waited at the 'reception' until a young and drunked girl came to welcome us. She tried some conversation asking things like where we all were from, etc and clearly she didn't know what to do. We asked how things worked, prices, etc when she turned to the owner asking for help. He then came to us and without saying a word started serving a sampler with six doses of beer. There was no eye contact, we just got two samplers and had to a find a place to sit by ourselves. The only information we got after asking was that the beers had different levels of bitterness. The tasting session started without further explanations and the guy walked back to his friends. There was only one beer that we liked as they were extremely bitter. We ordered four glasses of the one we disliked the least and ten minutes later we were ready to leave. We waited 15 minutes to get attention from somebody until we decided to stand up and wait at the 'reception' for the payment. We noticed another couple of seniors also feeling uncomfortable for the wait to pay. The owner took the money and didn't say a word of thank you. (Not a common behavior in Wisconsin where people are generally very nice). We left the 'brewery' with a bad feeling as we didn't feel welcome. It was like getting into a party we were not invited to. We were looking for an experience that would allow us to know the production process, the ingredients, the machines, etc., but ended up with a big frustration. Hope this place gets the attention it deserves!
