Golfed on a beuatiful fall friday. Fun course with the links type 9 holes followed by 9 holes in the woods. Great $2 beers and challenging holes.

Really nice Pete Dye course. Very challenging especially the back nine. Front nine is pretty open links style, back lots of trees and some pretty long holes. The club house is nothing but they have a small place between nines for a beer and a dog. Usually $40 or so for 18 and a cart. I got a Hot Deal with Golf Now and paid $19 plus tax.

The best kept secret in Northern Wisconsin, The Big Fish Golf Club! Pete Dye outdid himself with the unique combination of true European links coupled with back woods continental golf challenges! We played the Big Fish Golf Club in late August and found the golf course to be better than expectations and certainly a treat at the great midweek fee of only $38 on Tuesday and Wednesday! Better yet, the staff was all-in providing quality customer service and assistance ensuring a great golf experience. I enjoyed the links style front nine, with hard fast flowing fairways, groves of knee high fescue grass patches, challenging pot bunkers and undulated greens that only Pete Dye could create. The back nine features exciting elevation changes, landing area pot bunkers and the ever present thick forest that guarantees a lost ball penalty if you hit a wayward shot! The course was in great condition after surviving a vortex winter that was devastating for many venues in the vicinity! Play it, you will like it as we did and we promise to return.

I was excited to play this Pete Dye course based on the ratings it got and I couldn't have been more disappointed. The fairway grass was dead, the rough was dirt, the play was slow (even in the early morning), the range was closed for grass-cutting (must have been the only place on the course to have grass), the greens were just ok, and the bev cart person almost hit us head-on going about 40 around a downhill, blind corner. We paid $38 with a cart and felt even that was too much.I understand this year's weather has been difficult, but this was beyond a few problems. This course is a disaster.

Went online to receive discount on golfing the day before we went. Front nine easier than back in our experience. Tough course, with difficult sand traps? Great area with many courses to chose from, but this was stimulating to the average golfer.

My husband and I really loved this well maintained course. Designed by Pete Dye, the front 9 is a links style totally open course; while the back nine is totally the opposite with lots of trees, hills, and contours. We will definitely be back!
