mill race golf resort

This was my first time golfing ever so keep that in mind.The course was very nice as in clean and well taken care of. Was it a good course for golfing? No idea since I am a novice. I would go again and I know that my husband has played there before. I went with five others and one of them plays all the time so it must have been ok if he played there with us.

The course was good, the people very friendly and the price very reasonable. Plus, my husband had a hole in one (first time ever!) on the 18th hole, a par three.

stopped here for a couple of days to flyfish the Fishing Creek, BUT...Golf was great also, had fun at our rv site watching the Golfers and visiting with the Locals who have been staying here for years.....we stayed 10 days!!!!!...Diane, the Manager and the staff were nice and helpful, nothing too stressful for playing golf...nice greens and a beautiful setting,will definately be back...next time possibly several weeks.....thanks for a great stay.....

The location is very pretty, but you really have to know where you're going to get there. A good course, though.

Diane and the staff are always wonderful. I stay and play often. Nice change of pace from the busy city.

I'm not a golfer, but I often stop at Mill Race to feed the ducks. There is a little bridge and platform right off 487. Park alongside the road. They sell the fish/duck food in little plastic baggies for a quarter a bag on the honor system.This year, the stream was stocked with small rainbow trout, which would swim into the shallows to gobble up the food along with the ducks. They came so close to shore you could touch them. The ducks are all very used to people and friendly. Some will even eat out of your hands if you are patient and still.This is fun for adults and children, though on really busy days the ducks are fed so much that they get full, and show no interest in new people offering to feed them. I suggest going in the morning or on a weekday.

Great location, great pricing. Golf course is average. Benton is a cute town. Golf course has rv hook ups & camp sites.

nope..no golf unless its like mini golfing,wont chase a ball,hit it then run after it
