Friendly staff, always clean, sometimes some of the theaters are a little cold in the winter. Popcorn is excellent, new IMAX smaller than you may expect, but still well done.
A clean movie theater!!! Thank you!!! I saw a movie in their IMAX theater and it was comfortable and enjoyable. The IMAX theater was small, but I enjoyed a more intimate experience. The manager helped me stay warm inside while I waited for friends. A very good choice for movies in Chester County.
These theaters sit in a corner of a mini mall -- which is nice. Getting in and out of it can be a little bit of a challenge, especially when several movies are completed at the same time. Inside the concession area (and rest rooms) are very clean and has a nice variety. The theater seating is also very clean and they start on time. Pricing seems to be in line with industry standards.
This is a really busy place. You better get here 30-45 min early. It has really long lines and parking is tough. If you can buy tickets online it's great they use the tickets on the phone. The concession gets busy too. So plan ahead. We love the stadium seating and they show international movies as well as imax. We are lucky to have a theater nearby. The staff really nice though the theater and restrooms can be better maintained.
This Regal is a comfortable theater with high back, comfortable seats, always the right temperature, surround sound, and enough showings to accommodate the numbers. We saw the most recent Hunger Games on New Years Eve and it was still crowded but comfortable. We bought our tickets on Fandango with a gift card and went right on in.
Staff is hit or miss. Seats are small (but at least armrest is retractable and has cup holder). Smallest IMAX screen that I've ever seen. Ok, I get the economic angle of the concessions, but my goodness, eat before you go and hope for a free popcorn using your regal key card!Lots of teens in the area, and two nearby theaters have closed; so pay attention to what is playing and pick your times with care (can get packed in a hurry)Safe, clean, no technical problems; local is low-crime.
Clean, reliable. Have lots of seating. Have a nice perk for kids during the summer; $1 movies. In a shopping complex with strip mall shopping so it's easy to get from place to place.
when you go to the movies you just want to get your ticket, get your snacks and find a comfortable seat to watch the movie. They do all the simple things you want, so you have to give it an excellent rating. The only negative is that sometimes the lines for tickets gets a bit long and they only have one or two cashiers open. They need to do a better job of predicting traffic, but that's really a nit since it never gets really bad.
If you vacationing in Downingtown area there is plenty to see and do, nice hiking, walking and biking opportunities. But for a rainy day this is the place to visit. Clean and with repertoire up to date, convenient parking and fairly comfy seats.
We enjoy going to this theater, they have stadium style seating and the seats though non reclining are still comfortable. The theaters are clean and they offer a wide variety of movie choices suitable for all ages. There is ample parking, various restaurants and stores to frequent all in the same complex and you can spend the day shopping then go to dinner and for the finale go to see a movie at Regal Cinemas. We usually make plan a date day and spend the day in or around the complex and see a movie. We have yet to encounter any issues or trouble when frequenting this area.
It's a movie theater with lots of choices. As with most theaters the refreshments are overpriced but you expect that. Suggestion: Serve coffee! Stadium seating is a plus. Relatively clean and neat. Good selection of movies. I note that they include special opera and ballet in their showings, which is a good thing. Not spectacular but if you are going out to a movie it's a good place to go.
This Regal has always been clean when we go in. They do a good job of cleaning the seats and floors in between movies. The seats are modern and comfy as well. When it comes to movies, they have always been current and with plenty of showings to accommodate the crowds. The only complaint is that when we went to plan a birthday party, they were in the middle of renovating so they weren't taking reservations. That would have been fine, except to get a live person was nearly impossible so I kept listening to the same recording about how to book a party because no one bothered to update the answering machine. When I finally got a live person (after a week), I was informed that they couldn't do parties and he was uninterested in hearing how the answering machine message was outdated.
Use your AARP card for discounts. Plenty of parking. Clean friendly. Just a GREAT place to see a move. Early bird specials.Great place for swinging couples to meet.
Nice location, clean and calm. Sometimes the movies are crappy but that is Hollywood's fault. Tripadvisor requires me to say more so I will just say go see a movie tonight at Regal Downingtown which is the place to be.
