If you rode down on the incline you can see this field to the left. The AAABA Hall of Fame is behind the ticket booths and interesting to walk through. Holds a lot of history here at the park, it is named "point" because the Little Conemaugh, Stonycreek, and Conemaugh Rivers confluence here. Nice to just sit in the bleachers and watch the kids for a bit or go when the national tournaments are playing. It is the host field for the AAABA national tournament. It was the second stadium in the country to host a night game. Famous ballplayers such as Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jackie Robinson, Frank and Joe Torre, and Ken Griffey, Jr. have all played games at the Point. The Point Stadium has been used in all but two AAABA national tournaments and has hosted at least 922 games since 1945. Nice way to get the local feel.
