The Fred Rogers Exhibit is located in the Fred M. Rogers Center located at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. The exhibit is usually opened from 8:30-4:30 each day. Included in the museum are Mister Rogers sweaters and sneakers, his puppets, music that he wrote, and many historical facts about his life and career. I found it very enjoyable to spend some time again with Mister Rogers.

This exhibit of "Mister Rogers" is a hidden gem! It's located in the Fred M. Rogers Center for Early Learning - a beautiful building located on the campus of Saint Vincent College in Latrobe. The exhibit, or museum, follows Fred Rogers from his childhood in Latrobe through his adult life. Not only was Fred Rogers a pioneer in children's media, he was an artist, minister, composer and musician, environmentalist, and advocate for children and families. This exhibit offers a window onto his work and life, both on screen and off. It includes wall panels with narratives and photos, cases displaying artifacts from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, four video screens with clips of programs, interviews featuring Fred, and a “Speedy Delivery” letter-writing station for visitors. On display are his sneakers and a few of his sweaters, one of which is now in the Smithsonian. Also on display are "Trolley", Daniel Striped Tiger, Lady Elaine Fairchilde, Prince Tuesday, X the owl, and Henrietta Pussycat. George Bush gave Mister Rogers the Presidential Metal of Freedom in 2002, on the same day as Joanne and Fred Rogers 50th Wedding Anniversary. This exhibit will bring back all your fond memories. Wouldn't you be my neighbor?
