I attended two performances on the same day at the center. In the morning we attended the Pittsburgh Symphony's Fiddlestiks Concert. It was great to hear the orchestra and the acoustics were super. That evening my daughter and I attended the Bo Wagner performance of the music of Frank Sinatra/Barbara Streisand. A 15 piece orchestra along with the two performers was exceptional.Lincoln Park has many wonderful programs and I plan to attend many more.

We had purchased a 6 pack of shows for this years plays, Musicals, etc. We have been to 3 so far. one "the Wizard of Oz" was great. The second "Anne of Green Gables" was good. And the third "A Christmas Story" was fair at best. Tonight we go to see the "Nutcracker" and can"t wait. This is our date night during the winter months so we go to dinner and a show. Altogether so far it has been a really positive experience an we would recommend it to others. The tickets are very very reasonable and the facility is really really nice. We will being buying the six pack of tickets again next year and are very happy to do so

I went to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center for the first time on 12/6/14 to see A Christmas Story. I was expecting it to be a typical community theater type of experience, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was well beyond that. The facility itself is less than 10 years old and IMHO reminds me of one of the smaller venues in Pittsburgh's Cultural District. The Main Stage theater holds 750 all of which are comfortable for my wide self and have enough leg room for my 6'1" frame, The sound and lighting systems are excellent! The Center also houses the Henry Mancini School of Performing Arts for kids K-12., and a few of the school's students were in the performance along with well seasoned adult actors, some with Broadway musical credentials that you wouldn't expect to find in a small town.Besides stage performances, regional acts also perform here throughout the year.Best of all, the price of an orchestra level seat for this performance was far below what you would pay in Pittsburgh. Midland is a one hour drive from downtown Pittsburgh, but its a straight shot down Route 65 North and Route 68.Bottom line-- I was thoroughly impressed and will be returning for future performances at this venue.http://www.lppacenter.org/
