This Philadelphia Phillies AA minor league park is pretty cool. I wouldn't like it at a major league park. It's a great place to go alone, with family, organization, or a significant other. There's a deck area in left field where one can have a buffet lunch/dinner and watch the game from there, or one can attempt to get tickets in the right field area that has a pool. The food is pretty good for a minor league park. The entertainment is a bit over the top for me as I'm not a fan of silly mascots, but it's a minor league park, so that gets a pass from me. :) Tickets are very affordable and the staff is excellent. Enjoy!
Great place to take in a minor league Phillies game!! Avoid the hassle of the city and check out the Reading Phillies. Tons of choices as far as food and beverages, friendly staff and employees. Games are fun, kids will love it as will adults. Fireworks are often offered at night games and are an added bonus. Great fireworks show!
This is a great ballpark to bring the family. Not a bad seat in the house. Constant entertainment before the game, in between innings and after the game (bands and fireworks).Free parking, food and tickets very reasonable. Great value for a fun evening out!
This is a great park. There is not a bad seat in the place. Fans can basically interact with the players. Great sports venue with family fun. There's a swimming pool in right field!!!! Prices are so reasonable you can take your kids to a game buy them something to eat, a souvenir and still not break the bank. Some great food options. Also very neat to see where many of the big leaguers got their start and have a chance to see a future star before getting the invite to the BIG SHOW. Plus if you time it right you get a free fireworks show after the game!!!
This is an awesome place for a family outing. They do a great job with in their small town budget. It certainly beats the prices you'll pay at the Phillies or other major league parks.
Great place whether you are a baseball fan or not...Plenty for everyone between innings and reasonably priced
The Reading Fighting Phillies field is so great. I take my grandkids to the baseball games and they have so much fun. You will not be disappointed if you attend a baseball game at this stadium!
I have nephews ranging in age from 4 - 13. This is a great place to take them that doesn't break the bank - even when they want every treat in the food court!
Several years ago they updated the facilities in the park and this is a big attraction for the Reading-Berks County area. They added more rest rooms, concession stands and BBQ areas for special promotions. We get to a few games every year. The only thing that bothers me about the park are things like the swimming pool and some of the little promotions on the field are over the top. I came to see a baseball game, if you want to go to a pool, then go to a pool and the promotions are cute but sometimes they are annoying and take away from the game, it gets to be more like a carnival than a baseball game. We in Reading and Berks County are very proud of that stadium however and it is a fun night out once in a while. Pack up your glove and who knows maybe you will be able to catch an erant baseball, just remember do not grab it out of a child' s hand. The fireworks are really great and if you go on fireworks night, you must stay and see them.
I attended the last season game because our visitors wanted to see a baseball game. Instead they were presented with a circus like atmosphere with breaks for baseball. If they wanted they could visit the two ostriches penned behind the playing field. If you want to see baseball go to Philadelphia. If you want to see baseball with distractions and see "fans" paying less attention to the game go to a Reading game. Hopefully baseball clubs won't follow Reading' s marketing plan
We've been to many ball games here since I was a kid. Now I take my kids. If you're in the area during the season, definitely a place to see.
Mental & physical therapy for beautiful weather fundraiser. The parking with handicap access and many bathrooms. Great food selection.
This was one of 10 stops on a (self-constructed) minor league baseball tour of NY and PA the wife and I took last summer. It was one of the most enjoyable stadium experiences for a number of reasons. This park has history, and you can feel it--it's not one of the 'miniature major league" parks that minor league teams have constructed in recent years to capitalize on the recent rebirth of interest by the trend followers. They honor their past with a gallery of exhibits of the major leaguers who have played there going back over a half century, including Herb Score, Rocky Colavito, Roger Maris. There is a great variety of food and drink available at decent prices. An overall great minor league baseball experience for all the right reasons.
Good place to watch your Fightin Phils. Not a bad seat in the house. They alsooffer good promos as well, and there food prices are reasonable.
Great venue, great food, great value, great fun! Super for the whole family or a corporate event. One of the best venues in all of baseball!
