The Designers is deserted. Some of the stores have moved over to the VF side. February is a great month to catch sales. Jones of NY has 1/2 price on top of marked down clothing. I hope they stay in business.

This was our first visit to this particular VF store location... shop mostly at the Grove City Outlets store as it's along the route we take to Pittsburgh. We found the overall selection of clothing here was much larger than other VF stores we've visited and had no trouble finding our sizes. The only other store within the complex we shopped in was The Kitchen Collection, which we found to be excellent... huge selection and great prices! There appeared to be a number of empty spaces within the complex, so perhaps, it may not be as good as in the past. Although nothing to do with the merchandise offered, it was enjoyable shopping in nicely re-purposed, historic, industrial buildings. We would recommend at least a quick visit if in the vicinity of Reading/Wyomissing, based on these two stores alone.

We have been coming to the VF outlets for 30 years and continue to enjoy the historical character of the complex vs the run of the mill outlet malls that seen to be built everywhere.Prices and selection are excellent and hopefully some additional stores can be added.The lower level of the blue building has a food court with an outstanding pizza place and the Whoppie Pie Co that serves a nice breakfast and lunch as well as excellent desserts.

Shopping at VF is not as good as it used to be. Their are really not top notch clothing offerings as was the case in years past. It seems as if the quality is lower, and the prices are higher.

My Wife and I go to the food court for lunch several times a month and there is a good selection of restaurants to eat at. Definitely worth eating at.

u can find bargains if u look..Tues is senior day with extra 10% off total if u r over 55...this helps..bargains aren't like they used to be tho..lotsa stores have closed, too

A lot of great shops with a lot of great deals. Everything was well spaced out and not cramped together, which was very nice.

Although VF has changed over the years....it still has incredible bargains. I try to hit VF at least once a month. The products are constantly changing, so if you see something you like, better snap it up! Actually, I purchase most of my sleepwear, jeans, under garments, sneakers and socks here.

I was very happy that I was staying at the hotel next door to the outlet. Well to my surpirse I didn't see that many stores compared to other outlets that I have been to. I did get a lot of good deals at the red and blue building. Across the red and blue building there is another building with shops but only one on the second floor and 3 to 4 on the first floor. I was a bit dissapointed because I expected a lot more, but can't complain I got everything that I wanted and more! Give it a try.

We have been here too many times to even count. They have good prices on many items, but you have to be there at the right time. You must also keep an open mind as to what you are shopping for. Always good deals to be found.

This used to be THE place to go when looking for bargains and outlet prices. Sadly, over the past few years it has been slowly declining. There are now entire floors, that once held unique stores, that are now empty. Unless you are headed there for a specific reason this is no longer the must do shopping experience it once was.

The VF Outlet Village houses many different shops and of course, the Vanity Fair group (Lee, Jansport, etc.). A great variety of clothing, shoes, umbrellas, luggage, foodstuffs, kitchen gadgets, etc. It's just a great spot to spend a few hours looking at the many items for offer. Prices are very good to great!

We love going shopping here for clothes. We never pay more than $16 for a pair of jeans. My wife can find all the clothes she wants & get good deals on the kids clothes. I find all my work clothes at cheap prices. If you need luggage go check out the Samsonite outlet for some great deals. My wife also loves the Reading China & Glass store. That place has every kitchen gadget ever made for sale (I think) and then some. Check their website for coupons before you go.

The VF Outlet has been on a decline for many years now, but they still have a lot. The two anchor stores are still there and that is where you can find the best deals. I love the men's section. I always buy my jeans and work pants there. Their sports section is one of the best in the nation. They have apparel from almost every baseball and football team in the nation plus tons of the local team merchandise(Eagles, Phillies, Steelers, Penn State). And the prices are over half off the sporting goods stores at the mall. The VF Outlet also contains a lot of women's and kid's clothing at great deals as well. I would not suggest traveling far for this place unless you have a lot of shopping to do, but there are so many great deals to be found.
