northern lights arena

We have been to Northern Lights Arena many times. Just never thought to review it! We were in Alpena for a Hockey Tournament. Very clean facility. Plenty of clean restrooms. Nice walking track to use while the kids were in the locker rooms getting suited up for the games. Snack bar had nice selection and friendly staff. Pro shop had a few unusual trinkets, friendly and helpful. Got talking to the "Zam" guy, Jerermy, very nice and full of info on where to eat etc. Lots of information about the area in the arena. By the way...we won the tournament!

This place had some problems the past couple years with a "poor management" issue, but that has been resolved! A great place to watch hockey, do some skating, and a great place to have birthday parties for the kids!

Like to strap on some ice skates and have some great fun, then this is the place for family and friends to meet. Relax have a snack and get enjoy the fun. Even has a walking track that is great for exercise.
