Had fun with parasailing. It was very safe and kids also enjoyed. Fun for family and kids. good time with watersports

This was a very nice hike, very scenic. It was really hot out so we took a deep in the clear water. The hike was not strenuous and went on for quite a way along the lake and into the forest. We didn't visit the campsites but would like to check them out. The lake looks good for fishing.

I have been camping here for years, and it never disappoints. Great fishing in the lake for smallies and trout. Bring a kayak or a big tube as much of the fishing is done on the west side, and the "launch" is on the east side, just a nice 1/4+ mile hike from the ample parking. There are a few campsites available and as comfortable a latrine as you could ask for.Be warned, on summer weekends, those few campsites WILL fill up. If you can start the weekend on Thursday, you shoukd be OK. The short hike in generally puts you far enough away from road noise that you FEEL a little further out, but it is still short enough that you can pack in all the creature comforts. Fire rings include grilling grates.If there is anything to complain about, I would like to see more separation between campsites, though they do surprise you with their privacy.Close to Au Sable - South Branch and Holy Waters. Close to Forest Dunes golf (and they have showers!). Gates Lodge has a fly shop right near by, too.

I snowshoed around the lake after a recent heavy snowstorm. For being so close to a main local highway, it still felt remote and very quiet. A good network of trails provides lots of opportunities for a day in the woods. The trails are relatively well-marked and very easy to follow. I was the only one out that day, so enjoyed having the wildlife, lake, and snow-laden trees all to myself.
