We went on the coldest day of the year, too cold for skiing. Spent several hours in the tasting room and it was divine. I am a bit of a wine snob and have always turned my nose up at Michigan wines, but there are some really yummy ones here. I like dry whites, and the Chardonnay (unoaked) was quite tasty. While it will never be confused for a French chard or Calif chard, it was still quite good. I also tried the dry Riesling, not because I like Riesling but because I like dry. It was also very good, but like I said, I'm generally not a Riesling drinker. My fav was the Pinot Gris, which was very nicely balanced with sharp fruit and a nice dry finish. Definitely try a flight, then decide which one you really want to drink. My husband did the beer sampler, and he liked almost all of them. Fugglie was his fav. Everyone who came in to the tasting room raved about whichever beer they were drinking. Definitely some great choices. There is a very limited menu in the winter, but it was more than sufficient, and incredibly delicious. Parm crusted grilled cheese was awesome. Pulled pork was delicious. Spicy peanut noodles were some of the best I've had. When I finished my meal I wished I had more to taste. Soooooo good.Be sure to stop in the "grocery" and buy some great canned foods. Dilly asparagus, zucchini pickles, sour cherry jam, and so much more. You cannot go wrong at this place. Can't wait to visit in the summer/fall when the menu is much more expansive and we can tour the farm while sipping our tasty libations.

Really enjoyed the experience and staff !!! The owner and staff are full of information. The winter sights where nice but I'm sure the fall would be the best time to visit

A group of friends and I stopped by Pond Hill Farms on a self-guided tour of the breweries and wineries of the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area. We anticipated sampling some Harbor Springs Winery wines, but were very happily surprised to learn that they brew beer here, too, under the name Tunnel Vision Brewing. Half of our group got a beer sampling and the others, including me, tried a wine flight. There was a flat charge for the first four tastes (I think $6-7) and $1 per additional pour. This included an engraved stemless wine glass you could take home. The beer samplers did not provide a take-home glass because the amount poured is nearly a pint.It was fun sitting there, laughing with friends, learning about the beers and wines, and watching the overhead screen to see the Lions not quite losing yet. We were never rushed to move on for others. It was a great experience. They also had lots of other activities at the farm and a nice farm market of produce, pumpkins, preserved items, and gifts. I can't wait to come back.

We had such a fantastic day at the winery, from tastings to walking around. But the best experience was walking up the hill behind the winery to look down on the rolling hills and to see Lake Michigan off in the distance. What a gem this place is!

If you're reading through these reviews, also check out the reviews for Pond Hill Farm and the Garden Cafe because they're all essentially the same thing. The wine tasting room connects to the café and they sit above the farmers market and are surrounded by the farm. I come for the wine; they really put out a great product. Now they are offering a few house beers on tap which are also worth a try. Most recently I ordered the Farmhouse Burger and I have to admit that it was unexpectedly the 2nd best burger I've ever had in my life.

Pond Hill has something for everyone - and according to the signage, "Brewery - Coming Soon". They have a farm with a variety of home grown veggies, etc. There is a giant slingshot/catapult to chuck squash into the hungry lambs. They have a wine tasting room and a restaurant area. Our party of five went for the wine tasting and we especially enjoyed the 2012 Pinot Gris. We also liked some of the drier reds that they offered. It's a great way to spend a rainy afternoon!!I really like the set up of their tasting fee - pay as you go rather than a lump sum for a full flight.

Yes this winery is rustic but in a good way. One can tell the owners, probably a family, put their heart and soul in this place and this is reflected not only in the wine they serve but also the level of friendly service the servers provide. This visit was one of our best memories on our first trip to Northern Michigan. WE WILL BE BACK!

Winery tasting is one of my favorite ways to spend time with friends! We were not disappointed - tasted much and bought much. Would love to come back again in the summer and fall to visit the farm and enjoy the restaurant. There was a fee for tasting but pours were generous.

Pond Hill Farm is a great little stop on M 119, especially in the fall. Enjoyed all the pumpkins, seeing the baby pigs, shopping in the store for home made goodies and best of all a wonderful lunch (twice) in the restaurant. We had two great lunches in a barn atmosphere. We did not sample the wine on this visit.

Even though my family has spent years traveling to Harbor Springs/Petoskey area, I had never gone to the winery before. It is a beautiful place that is fun for any age. Located off M-119 on the tunnel of trees, the harbor Springs vineyard is perfectly situated. There are plenty of animals to pet and feed, squash shooting, farmers market, cafe and of course wine tastings going on all the time. The cafe food is really good. The wines are great as well. It isn't a huge vineyard, but they are growing and they are relatively new to the wine industry. The view a beautiful as well. The owners did our tasting personally and it was very enjoyable.

It had recommendation from Bay Harbor Inn website's, and it has a beautiful sign on the road. The winery was hot (90 in June's visit) and no air conditioning. The winery not much too look at, actually rickety building and neglected looking landscape, but expensive to do any tasting.

Food is TOP NOTCH!! 100% fresh! And the wine and cider are great too! Great folks work there and really care about your experience. The only bad thing is... Nothing!! GO there! Period!

A group of us (8) saw the sign near Petoskey and decide to visit. To begin, the ride to the winery, winding through the "Tunnel of Trees", was beautiful. The winery is an actual working farm. In addition to wine, you can eat a Farm to Table meal, participate in the Barn Dance, or take home fresh vegetables or canned goods. The wine tasting is $2 for the first and $1 for each additional. They also have Hard Cider. Wines - Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Regatta Red, Cherry, Tunnel Vision Hard Cider (Apple, Cherry or Peach). This summer, there were two young men pouring - Ben and Chris.*** Ask to see the magic cork trick.*** The "Pond Hill Farm" has many activities. Depending on the time of year, there could be petting zoo, pumpkin launch, pumpkin painting, wagon rides and tours. There is also a Garden Cafe that serves appetizers, salads, sandwiches and wraps.

A friend and I had a great time tasting wine. The staff is knowledgeable and charming. While we are not big fans of Michigan wines we did enjoy the Chardonnay, Reisling and Tunel Vision Hard Apple Cider and purchased some to take home. We both tend to prefer red wines but did not like the Regatta Red. The farm is quaint and produces more than just wine.
