The Blue Goose is a bar that also serves great food at great prices. The servers here are the best - very efficient and very nice. The lake perch is the best!This is not a wild bar. It is mostly frequented by middle-aged, middle-class couples at night. There are not a lot of obviously intoxicated people.

The Blue Goose has always been a good spot to have a hamburger and fries! Good prices as well. Fun place for lunch.

Not sure if your looking for fun and entertainment whis would be the place to go. DRinks are ok but when you walk in you can tell its old and its mostly regulars who have been there since it opened. This place isnt for the young people for sure lol

Had a great time listening to the band tonight (Big Will and the 360 Band). We also had dinner and it was fine. Had a good pulled pork sandwich. With a pitcher of beer the four of us at the table had a nice time.

It's a neighborhood bar. Food is fine, & a good value It's noisy, like you expect that kind of place to be.

We were at The Blue Goose as it's called to try their perch special and regretted it almost from the moment we sat down. The perch platter is what we ordered along with deep fried pickles. The "fresh" perch was clearly frozen restaurant supply bought. It had the typical frozen plank shape, smelled fishy & horrible too. Don't even get me started on that breading. It was in straight cornmeal and was gritty, flavorless and hard. I took one bite and couldn't eat another due to the hard, gritty, flavorless fishy tasting & smelling frozen planks. The deep fried pickles I'm sure came from GFS and were undercooked & soggy. Blah! We rarely saw our server and we were one of only 2 tables in the dining room for lunch. The server was borderline depressed. Not friendly or engaging in the least. I was also surprised that after noticing almost 2 full orders of perch still on the table when we asked for the check she never asked if there was anything wrong or if we wanted a take out container. We will NEVER be back or recommend Blue Goose to anyone. We actually tell people to not go there. It was a great restaurant once with tasty quality food but obviously that was years ago. They're also way over priced for what you get. If they want to stay open & make any money they should beg Robert Irvine from Restaurant Impossible to come help because that's about the only chance they have. Clearly they're living in the past when the place was good.
