woodside golf course

This course was built by a local man and his son, it is currently owned and managed by the Hawk Hollow Golf Properties. We were really surprised at how nice this course is, both visually and in it's maintenance. The hole designs are interesting, incorporating well-place bunkers, a few ponds and some elevation changes. The greens have some speed to them and roll really well. Some of the greens are quite large and a little-tricked up but hopefully they don't place the pins in those areas. The clubhouse is small, it has water/beer/pop/snacks but no cooked food like hot dogs. Electric carts are available but the course is very walkable (3,200 yards from the tips).

Woodside Golf Course is a very nice 9-hole course with 3 sets of tees (3230, 3004 and 2666-yards). The course is par-36 and challenging. Water on several holes and sand traps on almost all the holes. It is my understanding that 3 more holes are being built. The price is fair and the course is fun to play. I will be playing it again soon.
