missouri bluffs golf course

Be sure and wear a collared shirts and golf slacks.They are required. The staff is excellent. The course is located right next door to the St Charles Wingate hotel which is very convienant.

Set on the bluffs, this is a interesting and challenging course for all but the best golfers. It's one liability is it doesn't drain well and can be pretty wet as times. It also has the best driving range in the area...better than the private clubs, including St Albans.

The weather this winter has held on fiercely; but finally a breath of spring time temperatures, opened the flood gates to the golf course. I am disappointed that the condition of the course isn't up to the usual standards; raccoons have ravished several areas around tee boxes and greens, peeling sod last fall, it has not recovered yet. The greens are slow and bumpy, complicated by the cold winter. The zosia is still dormant, not even a hint of green in the fairways as yet. Sand traps could use several tons of sand; none drain properly--a problem with the course in its original design.But it is a fun golf course, playable from a set of 5 tee boxes to challenge any golfer.

The course is beautiful, but a little exspensive. The greens and fairways are in great shape, and the clubhouse is very nice

Consistently well-maintained, very playable but challenging course, carved out in a state park-like nature setting. Pure golf, no homes on the course. Freqent encounters with deer and other wildlife. Very hilly with beautiful views, epecially #15 par-5 with a 100ft.+ elevated tee box. Great location just off Hwy 40.

You will call not be disappointed from the challenging holes cut into the 150 year old hardwoods. The hills and valleys will give you glimpse's of wildlife as you make your way around the course. Keep your eyes peeled for local celebrities who frequently utilize the Buffs for golf tournaments that benefit locat charities and foundations. The food is amazing. The atmosphere is beutiful.

The character of the golf course is wonderul, and no two holes are alike. This rolling course winds through the hills in Weldon Springs, with lots of elevation changes. My favorite hole is #15, a long par 5, where you tee off on top of a cliff and hit your tee shot to the fairway below. The hang time of your drive seems like it's forever as it falls to the fairway below.The course is a little pricey, but it's worth a play once in a while.

This is a challenging but not HARD course. I will play the course again, hoping the greens are in better shape. They have not fared well after the tough heat this summer.

A very challenging course that has excellent standards of maintenance. The course is in great condition despite the very hot weather and lack of rain this summer. Certainly worth a visit even if it is a little on the pricy side.

I've played golf here several times and every time, I've enjoyed the scenic views and the challenging course. If you haven't tried Missouri Bluffs, give it a try...

Nice place to play with a really great staff. Price is high but look for the deals out there.
