Guilford is a beautiful New England town with a lot of history. Riding a Segway is fun and a great way to see a larger area. Rich and Eileen took their time teaching everyone and both accompanied the group so one was ahead & one behind. Rich stopped to point out pieces of history and tell interesting stories. We went through historic areas and down to the coast of the Long Island Sound. It was a great afternoon. Highly recommended. After the Segway ride was done we wished we had more time to spend in the town. We'll be back.

Four of us all felt the same way. It was a lot of fun and a wonderful experience. Adam, our guide and very patient instructor, was a pleasure to be with and learn from.

This was the first time my wife and I were ever on Segways - Rich and Elaine got us up and comfortable on them quickly and with a lot of humor. Rich is obviously very knowledgeable about the history of Guilford and he made the tour interesting and loads of fun. We will definitely consider going with Rich on his other CT tours. We had a great afternoon and highly recommend this tour for those wanting to explore the Shoreline or for those wanting to ride a Segway -- or for BOTH!

Owners were patient in getting everyone up to speed on the Segways, and then took us on a tour of some of the older houses. Our group had long time residents who still learned something. The Segway itself makes it fun on its own, and the combination is a great way to introduce people to Shoreline history. Definitely something to consider when in town.

We had a wonderful day touring Guilford on Segways with Rich and Elaine of Shoreline Segways. We have done Segway tours in several places (Bemuda, Austin TX, Jerusalem) and this was by far the best tour we have had. Guilford is a beautiful town and we learned a lot about the town and its interesting history. Rich is clearly knowledgeable and entertaining as well! We did a Segway tour this weekend with 2 other couples and it was wonderful. Our guide patiently taught us how to maneuver our Segways for about 20 minutes, then off we went! We stopped at many historical sites around town as he explained each one, then headed over to the beach area. Our tour was a bit over 2 hours. Can't wait to go again. I would highly recommend everyone give it a try. It is as easy as anything you've ever done and tons of fun!

We went for Girls Date out and had a blast! Once you get the feel before going out on the road, it's lots of fun. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Eileen and Rich were great to work with.

We live in Connecticut and are going to Paris next week. We planned to do a Segway tour in Paris but thought it would be nice to try it before the trip. So, we went to Shoreline Segway and we're so glad we did. We were able to book the Guilford tour on a few hours notice. TJ was our guide. He taught us how to use them in their parking lot and made sure we were comfortable and safe. We then took off on the tour. My husband had a little bit of an issue with the inclines. TJ gave him additional instruction and by the halfway point, he was doing great. We were also a little nervous because I don't have good balance (have a problem riding a bike!) but this was easy! The tour was fun and educational. We learned some interesting history of Guilford. We now feel confident riding the Segway thanks to TJ and Shoreline Segway. Can't wait to do our Paris tour and are planning to do the tour with Shoreline in Mystic later this summer.

We were a party of 5 from Winnipeg, Canada who were in the area for our son's graduation and looking for something unique and interesting to do for a part of a day. We found it at Shoreline Segway and more! Have to highly recommend this business and it's employees for a truly memorable experience.If you have never had the opportunity, make the time and effort to try out the Segway.You won't be disappointed! Excellent customer relations, interesting local knowledge and a historic community all combine to make this a must-see and do event.

Our family has always wanted to try out riding a Segway so when we heard about Shoreline Segway located about 15 minutes from where (Branford) we were staying we gave them a call and they were able to fit us in the same day. They are so friendly and the training is excellent in making sure you feel comfortable before venturing out on the tour. After about 30 minutes of personalized training, Rich took us out on the tour. The city is absolutely beautiful and Rich is a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of the town. It seemed liked every time we went around the corner someone was honking or waving and saying, "hi Rich". I would highly recommend that you give this a try and can assure you won't be disappointed....

We had a beautiful day. Rich, our trainer and guide was awesome. Riding a segway is much easier than it looks. We had so much fun seeing some of the historical sites of Guilford and the harbor. The segway is so responsive to your body movements. My husband and I love them and can't wait to go on our next adventure. Shoreline segway is an outstanding experience and recommend it to everyone!

We are four women in our late forties who wanted to do something fun for our birthdays. The segways, which are a blast, were supposed to be the highlight. But in addition we got to enjoy Rich's excellent guided tour of this beautiful historic town with incredible architecture, a sleepy harbor and fantastic town center. Rich should be mayor because he shows Guilford in a manner that made me want to visit again and again!

...ANYONE can do it!! What a BLAST!!! I'm a middle aged, rather large torsoed, no grace female, and believe me, if I can ride one of these things with ease, just about anyone can. The instructor was great, showed us how to control the Segway and go over small bumps before we ever went into town. Then he took us on a tour through all the lovely areas of Guilford, from the Green to the Marina (all my fav places). He showed us old houses and discussed their history. He stopped traffic and watched out for us all the way. There was me, another gentleman, and his two teenage sons. We all had a GREAT TIME. Truly a must do, another item off my bucket list!

The feete of riding a segway seems graceful and easy from a bystander. But during the tutorial before your tour you will see what a challenge it is. However, it is one that is easilly overcome and now you not only feel accomplished because you got out of the house, but that you learned to maneuver on yet another mode of transportation.Armed with a great invention, and the nicest people you'll ever meet (hopefully this includes the people you go with) you are bound to have a very memorable experience. This is a chance that should not be missed. Whether you are a fan of nature or technology this is a compromise that will have you laughing and having fun the whole way home.
