byrd cellars

We visited Byrd Cellars last weekend and really enjoyed it. Nice country setting, the tasting room is very nice. The couple running the tasting room were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. I would like to return in warmer weather to sit outside and enjoy the setting. The wines were very nice.

The tasting room was nice and the owners very polite. A wide selection of wines. I think their $5 tasting included about 12 wines. I would classify this as an average winery. Nothing outstanding but decent.
