I really enjoyed my trip to Wild Wolf! Nice environment and I really enjoyed their gluten free options on the menu. My husband did a flight and really liked the 151 one. We had a little discrepancy with our order, but one of the managers (I think his name was Troy) sorted things out for us and was very kind in the process. I would recommend trying this place!
Wild Wolf is a relaxed brewery on "The Brew Ridge Trail". Their seasonal brews are creative and tasty although sometimes too hoppy for me. Fortunately there are many brews on hand at any given time. My favorite is a late summer brew which is sweet and sour much like a sour patch candy. The name of the brew escapes me but paired with the most succulent hand rubbed ribs hot out of the smoker, the brew is absolutely perfect. The smoker chef knows his stuff, the savory meat melts in your mouth like butter. Absolutely the best pairing ever?
We chose to go straight to the bar, but there were lot's of people in the restaurant area. They had 3 tastings available. The strawberry beer was awesome. I know it's a working brewery, but the smell of the brewing kind of overpowers the bar. Other than that, it was great.
Great down home southern food with excellent beers and service. Indoor outdoor seating is available! Get the Ribs!
We had some nice beers and listened to an awesome band at a great outdoor venue. We just did not feel particularly welcome. We almost left before sitting down. That said, our server was nice, and we our visit improved as it went along.
We choose this brewery because we heard that it was "dog friendly". We went there with another couple and both of us had our dogs with us. There were dogs everywhere around us when we arrived. There were even outside water taps with bowls for the dogs! Impressed. Obviously we came for the beer, so here goes. It was very hot on this day and beer was in the cards. We did a beer sampling which consists of 11 2oz. beers for $10 (got 2 of these). Good deal. They had your usual fare of beers and some very unusual ones also. I liked most of them. The issue on this day was the heat and the inability to keep the beer cold, which hampers the tasting. I suggested they serve the glasses in a tray with ice. We also had food and it was very good. The "beer battered" fries were awesome! Make sure to try them. It was Labor Day weekend and they were very busy, but I felt they were understaffed. Took awhile for the drinks and the food. There is a large bar inside that seats probably 20 or so and tables around it also. There was only one bartender? Management error.I will definitely go back again, on a non-holiday weekend though.Did not have time to tour the brewery itself, so no comment on that.
