wilderness adventure at eagle landing

We had our Christmas party here. What a great getaway. A tall Christmas tree positioned next to the fireplace. Delicious dinner in the open two story dining room. The rooms are modest and clean. Most rooms have bunks. Almost 500 acres of beautiful property with lots of outdoor activities from hiking, rock climbing, canoeing. Love the quietness of no cellular coverage. There is wifi available if needed. We are looking forward to returning when the weather is warmer!

I could find peace, adventure, good food and make new friends at this place. Canoeing was the best, but I also had so much fun hiking and going in the zipline! Great experience!

A group of about 14 of us arrived here for a pre-arranged weekend of motorcycle riding. We bunked in the main lodge - rustic place with mostly bunk bed rooms. Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere (and the lack of cell service emphasized that feeling - but it was nice not to have it - - although they do have WiFi if you need it)... with almost no traffic along the dirt/gravel road and a lazy river running past.Comfortable accomodations in a beautiful setting. Hot showers. A/C in the main lodge. Meals (I think you have to arrange those with staff ahead of time).We shared the location with a small girl scout troop and their parents - - although they were staying in a different building so no mingling of groups really occured at all.Staff seemed to be mostly college kids and they were, if anything, a little too laid back and inattentive - - although they seemed to be very responsive and knowledgable if you ever asked for anything.If you like tent camping (which you can do here as well) with a little more of a roof over your head and some A/C for when it gets a little warm... this place is great.They offer various adventure trips (canoeing, tubing, kayaking, and other things listed on their web site) although we didn't do any of these trips (we were too busy riding the scenic roads of the area on our motorcycles).A very relaxing and enjoyable time was had by all.
