I was surprised to see that the North Street Market had not received any reviews since it appears to be a rather popular place with locals. Well, let me be the first!The NSM is really quite a find in Onancock. Located just off the main street, the shop is filled with a wide array of food, wine and accessories that are unique and fun. Our discovery was the incredible selection of infused balsamic vinegars and oils, and the combinations you could make with them are truly endless. The best part? You can taste every single one before you buy it, although that actually makes the decision process harder not easier! The second best part is that the vinegars and oils are sold not only in full size bottles but in small (3 oz.?) samplers as well, so you can go crazy without breaking the bank.You can also find a great selection of Stonewall Kitchen products and other herbs, salts, and condiments. There is also a nice offering of wines in a price range to suit most pockets. The day before they held a wine tasting that was evidently well received based on the number of phone orders that came in while we were there. There was lots of other fun stuff that, if we lived in the area, would bring us back to the store often.Make sure to stop in to the North Street Market when visiting Onancock. You're bound to find something great!
